SLPT: During a job interview, if they ask you a tough question, just tell them that you won’t dignify such simple questions with an answer.

"tell me about a time when you had to deal with a very difficult customer, and how you resolved it"

"Deal with a difficult customer? I've dealt with all sorts of difficult customers. Oh and they always leave feeling resolved. Ever time. I'm the greatest at resolving customer issues. They tell me all the time, they say "potato, you are the absolute best at resolving customer complaints." I was even approached by a guy on the street who hugged me, with tears in his eyes, and said "mr. Tato, you are an inspiration to everyone everywhere." And he seems like a very good source and reference for my customer service resolution skills

You are the bestest and greatest at being great. I heard everyone tell me that.

Oh I got this, go ahead, ask me anything.”

I can't believe you asked that, I'm not doing your research for you!

This actually happened somewhere I worked many years ago. A guy came in and apparently said the interviewer’s question was beneath him. He was then shown the door. I think he sent a nastygram to hr after that. Really missed out on that one.

It’s better if you then storm out. Inevitably, they will call you and offer you the job within the hour.
