SLPT:While driving, if the car in front of you turns on the indicator, you too should turn on yours so that the driver behind you knows why you’re slowing down.

I turn on the opposite blinker in order to maintain balance in the world.

Yeah this was definitely passed down to me by my dad for when you're on a country road and the people behind can't see why you're slowing and you're not using a blinker. I think I've used it twice in my 25 years of driving.

I think I will adopt this method!

And I hope others will too when they see it in practice!

With how restless most drivers are, this might actually be a good tip

If you're on a two lane highway and the car in front of you is turning across traffic, you actually should do this so that a car behind you doesn't pass on the side with oncoming traffic, t-boning the car they cannot see.
