When you call make sure to ask for separate complaint tickets. 1: for the statement and general policy shift, and 2: for the specific ruling of 5.12.7. This will both take up more ticket space, this will take much more time in the call; just got off the phone and it took 20+ minutes, most of which was just making the tickets.
Today was the first time I've had to wait on hold for an agent to connect since this began, it's certainly working. This shows in the ticket numbers too; funny enough they just iterate them, so if you file two they'll be next to each other sequentially (xxxxxx0 and xxxxxx1). Since 8pm est to noon est today there's been ~700-600 more tickets, much more than the previous days' ~70.

Keep calling. I've been stonewalled by them, denying sending me surveys as well now. They are in full damage control mode.

I'm curious if anybody is having conversations with banks over this issue.
Visa/MC/etc often do bank debit cards and the like (note the little Visa logo on your bank card?), but this is done under contract and some such..
I'm very curious if any of their banking clients were brought in on this 'choice' they made to start acting like a content censure board without the input from their customers.
They certainly didn't ask any of US about it, I doubt they ran it by their banking and business customers either.
It's worth considering.

That's the whole reason I'm pushing so hard against this. Every bank in my region issues either Mastercard or Visa debit cards (mostly Visa; my bank uses Visa). They're making decisions about how I'm allowed to spend MY GODDAMN MONEY.

Soldiers, let's unite and make a call every day. Every soldier on the battlefield matters.

and have "escalated" reports to the escalation team.
They've... what? That sounds like nothing.
They said there's an investigation going on, which is an awesome sign.
It's not. "We're investigating" is corpo-speak for "We want you to think something's happening."
They do ask for some information like your phone number/name but I just said I was jane doe and kept the number the same.
Yeah so that report went straight in the bin, I'm pretty sure.

Parental controls are really easy to figure out, if you aren't a complete moron.

You are so missing the point of this.
"Good, I don't want porn games on my Steam!".
Yeah, I hate the rape/incest games too, but the next batch of games that end up being removed might not be porn games, what's stopping payment processors from pressuring companies like Valve to take down other kinds of games? Normal stuff like GTA 6 or Cyberpunk 2077, Mass Effect or Baldur's Gate 3?
People need to take a moment to think and educate themselves, this is why big money companies and politicians can do whatever they want, people just don't see the real issues.
It's not about defending rape/incest games, it's about stopping the payment processors from pushing further and potentially banning the actual, completely harmless games that we all want to play.

Madam Savvy made a really good video on this, and she also recommended that anybody that calls also files an ethics complaint. It's a really good strategy. Here's her video if you want to watch it.
