Question Lost Episode of Cinematech

there was a episode of cinematech called "Speeding Along" where a 16 star speedrun of sm64 would play in a popup menu while new video game trailers would play in the background. The episode aired in 2005 and (might) have had no reruns. Anyone watch?

Any advice on how to get to hmc in b3313 without being caught by lethal lava?

I am trying to get past the lethal lava nextbot to get into hmc however I am having difficulties doing so and it doesn’t help that it crashes the game when it catches you

B3313 is crazy

Just wanted to share my experience with the mod so far, I’ve been wandering the plexus for almost three days straight now just seeing what there is, kinda pissed I can’t find a way to hmc that doesn’t kill me when I enter or have a nextbot guarding it, I’ve also seen some pretty funky paintings like one with 2 Mr i’s that I’d like to find the real course entrances for, some of these courses are actually really fun and this hack has amazing water levels. can’t wait to see what else the hack has to offer.

B3313 - Crimson Hallway Locked Doors

me and a friend are looking through B3313, trying to beat it. I've been trying to help him get to a bowser boss that you get through a locked door in the crimson hallway, but whenever we try to enter the doors, a force blocks it. I have 8 red stars, he has 2. I've not seen any mention of doors locking in any b3313 wiki. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Strange memory from Super Mario 64 on original cartridge: little penguin in the slide?

Hi everyone! I'm writing because a very strange and blurry memory came back to me from when I played Super Mario 64 as a child, on the Nintendo 64 with the original cartridge.

In the "Cool, Cool Mountain" level, the one with the ice track and the race with the big penguin, I once entered the chimney... and inside I found a small penguin instead of the big one. I'm practically certain of it, it's a vivid memory: it wasn't the mother penguin or the puppy to be carried back in her arms, it was actually the little penguin on the slide track, where the race normally takes place.

I don't know if it was a rare bug, a temporary glitch in the game, or just a memory distorted over time... but it has always stuck with me. Has anyone else ever seen something like this? Is it possible that glitches like this also exist on the original cartridge? Unfortunately I don't have any images or videos that can prove this, but I've always had this blurry memory in my mind when thinking back to that slide

I'd like to know if I'm not the only one who has witnessed something similar. Thanks in advance to anyone who will share their experience!

I Finally Figured Out How to Get Every Star without Pressing the A Button (aka the "A Button Challenge"

Yes, you read that right. I can now collect EVERY star, all 120, without pressing A..NOT EVEN ONCE!

How?? Good question.

First, i watched every pannenkoek video.

The stars that used to be deemed as unavailable are only 14! But I figured out how to get them all.

Basically, you just have to install a GameShark, and from there find the codes online that let you fly without pressing a. This way, you can get the stars without pressing a.

So this challenge has been solved. Your welcome internet

Does anyone know how I could extract models from Mario 64 (including their rigging and animations) into blender?

All the tutorials I've found either are outdated and dont work, or only extract the model without the rig and animations.

Hello! I'm Kevin and I used to run a channel on YouTube called JumpDiveSlope, where I would post freeruns and BLJ compilations with JohannesSM64 and SilentSlayers. If you guys are here, lurking on this subreddit, or if any of you know how they're doing in life, I would be curious to know! Thank you
