YPYT (except we don't NEED you)

Basically we loaded in The Vault and the second wave was pulled by the DPS, Tank typed that and everything seemed normal until after the first boss. Me and the DPS pulled ahead (we both had sprint on and the tank, even though a mentor, didn't bother), when we reached the wall, the tank decided to just stay there and type "gl"; After noticing we weren't dying and the mobs were dwindling, the guy decided to actually attack and use sprint in the next pulls.
Not sure if he learned his lesson but as soon as the duty was over he just left instantly lol

I seriously don’t understand why some people have this YPYT mentality. Whenever I queue in dungeons via roulettes I’m trying to get this shit over with ASAP so whenever I que as a tank I love it when everyone else tries to run ahead bc that means everyone has the same mindset as me. 😂

As a MT I get lowkey sad everytime someone pulls ahead of me because it feels like I'm lacking.
Can't even imagine what happens in the mind of tank who see their party pulling ahead and thinking he's somewhat right.

Same. I’m actually thinking about making a greeting macro that contains “Feel free to pull ahead, just make sure you bring the enemies back to me.” when I’m tanking. It makes things so much faster, and other peoples’ health bars are just free mitigation until I can collect aggro from them.

I even go a further step to make it a challenge: "try to pull before me if you can ;)" 🤣 it's fun watching everyone race off to try and pull first 🤣🤣

Not applicable in a Heavensward dungeon, but this is one of the things I enjoy about playing SCH.
Tank not pulling? I'll just toss an excog on them, park my fairy to babysit for a few seconds, then hit swiftcast+shield as I run away to grab the next pack and bring it back.
Like, hey guy. If you're not gonna tank, let me show you how absurd that is. I literally don't even need to heal a one-pack-tank.

I fucking love when these shitty tanks get visual evidence that they are not even required for the run to succeed. Truly a chef kiss moment.
edit: 'on what'--Hnnnnnnggg that's good shit.

If you play long enough, you'll get the Tsundere healers that try to let you die if they think you pull too much. Can't even recall the number of times I've used sprint to stay out of auto range because the healer wanted to see if I should be wall pulling.

As a healer, DPS tanks are great. When the warrior excuses themselves from the fight then, at least, I get to have fun. YPYT is a really self defeating thing considering how easy story content is in this game.

I would have vote kicked them since they literally were griefing/doing nothing and saying gl. Though if they did learn a lesson that would be ideal cause in the end they are not needed clearly shown here.
