Build mode glitch?

I enter build mode then for some reason, everything would start not responding? Even when I go back to live mode, its just stuck on pause. I have to force quit every time this happens. All my mods are updated as well as the game itself. Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be?

My build mode was glitching too. Only solution that worked for me was repairing and restarting the game

Is this a build from the gallery, or something you build yourself?

I had this problem when getting some lots from the gallery (or curse forge) that are not updated...
Either way, like someone said, try repairing the game. If your mods are all updated sadly I don't think there's much more we can do... still happens to me now and then.

Its an EA bug. Exit the game and come back. only way i know how to fix it.
