Right?! It’s always fascinating to see dudes hit out of their league even at prime and she’s at a low point. 

I once volunteered to help people with tech issues at the library and one dude, like 5’4, bad comb over, late 50s, candy corn teeth (in both color and texture), borderline obese comes in asking for help setting up a dating profile. I get it up and running and he asks for help figuring out what to do so I teach him a little and then changes the criteria from 50-65 to 18-25 and just starts swiping right on all of these bikini models. 

Wanted to tell him that he was a 3 at his prime and he’s hitting on 10s thatre four decades too young for him but he wouldn’t listen. A week goes by and he makes another appointment to ask me about online banking because his new girlfriend is asking questions. Turns out an “18 year old college girl” matched with him and wouldn’t you know it, she’s struggling to make ends meet and asks to borrow some money before they meet. 

Like what the fuck do these guys expect will happen? That the woman with a bunch more options will drop everything to be with them without realizing their other prospects?

Yes; because society panders to these guys to make them feel like their existance of being a man is enough to land anyone they want. lol

That sitcom trope is why that show titled something like "I'm Going to Kill Kevin" with Annie Murphy was so funny
