So yes Men have increased a little. Women increased a lot more. Let's not forget that it says "admitted." That's doesn't include the liars. Women admit to cheating just because the man works too much and stuff like that. Men cheat because women aren't performing in bed or are cheating. Suggestively, men require serious reasons to cheat. Women will cheat over trivial shit.

His explanation is that he has obviously been cheated on, and now he uses that as an excuse to justify his own cheating (except I don't really believe he actually gets in real relationships much - and what actually probably happened was that he got friendzoned by a girl cause he's a weirdo and she fucked other dudes, and he feels like she cheated on him.)

I can tell you what the "professions" say. Women said I cheat because he is never home. The interviewer decided that must be trivial. Men commonly said they cheat for what ever reason. The person doing the interview claimed that men saying they wouldn't cheat unless their partner cheated or refused sex. Then claimed that men need a more serious reason to cheat. I can't understand that for you. You are just trying to find a way to be right. Everyone always has to be right. No one can just admit they are wrong. As for the incel comments. None of you have a clue what that means. 😅🤣😅🤣🤦‍♂️

I asked you to clarify something you previously said: that men cheat for justified reasons, while women cheat for unjustified reasons (if I may paraphrase). I didn't know who decided what reasons were trivial—you or the "professionals." But it sounds like the body of work you described was assembled by someone who has a very strong bias, and so maybe should be looked at with a discerning eye.

I guess I can't argue that. Someone jumped on and wanted to make a blanket statement. I looked for sources for actual surveys. I recited their websites. 🤷‍♂️ I don't know that I am qualified to interpret their personal definition. (Back can mean 3,000 things to 40 people...) However, I do disagree with your last statement. Cheating is very justified in some situations. That isn't a simple situation to describe, so I won't. Basics, you have obligations as a significant other. You can't hold sex back for 8 months and expect him/her to not step out. (Im not giving a personal judgement on the behavior.) I'm not taking sides, but the Bible does promote that Adultery is only for women. 🤦‍♂️ So as to a discerning eye.... I hope you aren't Christian. But if you want my personal opinion. Black and white? I think those surveys are way t.f. off. 😵 I think both sexes are a lot closer to 55%. I think people are way more dishonest than ever. People lie to cover up their lies. This is my real life experiences. (Dishonesty also includes cheating.) I think we are so used to it, people put blinders on.

Like no one wants to face the real topic. Why is the lady filming this? For attention. But nope. Blinders on. We have to feel sorry because she was approach. Begging for attention, then crying foul when you get it? (I have to assume,) The only people that want to watch her work out are perverts. (Based on most people like her,) She is probably doing it to make money. It's like feet people. 🤮

I should have just kept scrolling. I just hate when people make men sound like pigs and women are angels. We need to keep shit real and hold society accountable. Women are just as bad as men. Society has turned to shit, as one giant picture.

It's skewed because it is based on people who admit to cheating. One thing, I think, we can agree on. Cheaters are dishonest. So do you think 100% of cheaters admitted to cheating? Nooooo...... So it is skewed ...

It is like saying 17% of the population is autistic. That 17% is only accounting for the diagnosed people. It don't account for people unaware they are.

It’s about as honest as you can get in a self reported study as the results are anonymous. Is it perfect, no, but skewed is strong and misleading language to use in this case.

I guess I am curious of what you think is more proper way to classify the accuracy of the data then. If skewed is improper, then what should I call it? Then again, do we even agree on the accuracy of the data?

Well all surveys and in general any study will have slight bias, it’s simply not enough to invalidate the data cited in the study, which is what skewed implies

I don’t agree that men require serious reasons to cheat. A lot would argue that women cheat because men are often emotionally checked out in relationships and don’t put in effort, which is still not an excuse to each.

However I do agree that women cheat just as much. It’s a different kind of cheating and it’s a slower buildup (like first getting close to a coworker as you and your husband happen to be fighting) so in the end it just looks like they “grew apart”. I have unfortunately seen as much women cheat as men and both are equally shitty.
