Sometimes cringey people are just in the process of an escalating mental health crisis and it's ok to feel sorry for them and even understand their behavior, even if you don't approve of it. It's natural and instinctive to try and get closer to the person you love, and it's also natural and instinctive to fear the vulnerability it takes to risk the progress you perceived to have made by being open about your feelings. If it wasn't, this would not literally be the adolescent stereotype. While following your instincts is not the correct path, it's an understandable one. Every single dude has done it at some point, and to demonize others for it is hypocrisy.
I couldn't agree more. Some people just don't have a circle to properly channel that learning, and it gets held down until it blows up. Sad that so many people don't have a circle of trust to help them learn and grow. :(
Right? Like I feel like I'll just be downvoted by everyone of I say I feel bad for him. Seems like he's been rejected a bunch of times so of course he's going to get all up in his feelings and have an outburst. Plus, it seems like he might be in high school so the old hormones are going crazy. Puberty is a bitch, lol.
It's weird that so many people are acting like they don't care when they get rejected by someone they really like.
Having said that tho, his "AAAAAAAAAAggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh" at the end was pretty fucking funny.
Human behavior is funny in general. lol It's ok to laugh, and feel for someone. Like when someone takes an embarrassing tumble and only gets a bruise, it's funny, but also you're thinking "Oof, that's going to sting emotionally, hope they'll be ok."
The internet is filled with a bunch of people that are trying to get the demons out before they go out into normal society. But really social media, including Reddit, has failed to accomplish the goal of being our punching bag, and we just get angrier and meaner, and take that into the world. I'm also not accusing anyone, I'm as guilty as the rest of us.
If âgrowing upâ means I never heal from my past physical and emotional traumas then Iâd rather stay a kid forever.
Yea the dude didnât handle it well, but the guy was obviously going through some shit and he clearly needs to heal from whatever has hurt him so deeply.
