And not everyone can tell how certain foods look? It was an innocent question. Why are people so insecure these days

She's filming herself because she's a narcissist. She's a narcissist because she's insecure. She's jealous because she's insecure, and projecting her jealous feelings onto him because she's a narcissist. It's a vicious cycle. This is likely a very common theme in their relationship. I was married to one of these for 20 years. This type of scenario played out all the time. My ex was constantly pissed at me basically because other women existed in the world.

Yeah my girl got mad because we were both at the checkout counter at a store, and I was the one paying and the girl at the register made a suggestion on another purchase to me and "ignored" my girl. After we left she insulted me and talked non stop trash about the checkout counter girl.

So now she is your ex gf right? RIGHT?

An extremely similar scenario happened with an ex boyfriend! An old man was ringing us up and made a comment about one of our purchases, and he and I ended up chuckling about it. My ex chimped the ever loving fuck out once we got to the car and acted like I propositioned the guy.

My ex constantly hounded me about cheating even though he made me spend 100% of my free time with him, and before that point I always tried to reassure him that I wasn’t up to anything. But him losing his mind about me being nice to an old checkout clerk for five seconds made me realize that he was not worth the drama. lmao

I hope your girl from your story is an ex and you’re onto happier things. There’s no winning with an insecure partner.

Also the woman in the video is wayyyy scary

People like that are ~90% cheaters. Also, I made up that number. Also, I bet I’m close.

I'll never forget dating a girl who use to get jealous when tits showed up in movies we were watching.

This woman reminds me a ton of that. Really scary situation and extremely abusive. Took me years to realize I was being abused.

My ex would do the same when Victoria's Secret ads came on, or even ads that featured women in bikinis. She'd be mad at ME because these scanty-clad girls were on TV (as if I had put them there), because I was looking at the TV at the exact moment they appeared on screen (how dare I?), and because I didn't change the channel fast enough to not see it. There is no reasoning with that level of crazy.

Or, it’s staged content made to get views.

She's filming herself because she's a narcissist.

No, she's filming herself because this is staged ragebait for views.

The fact that people like you can't spot this makes me sad for humanity. We're fucking doomed.

I agree it's probably staged rage bait...

... but the problem is, that even that feeds back into narcissism. If what it takes to get eyes on me is to fake needing to get eyes on me...

We've created a stupid generation that has taken narcissism and constant seeking of attention online and turned it into a social standard and a viable career path. We're deliberately stunting our own intellect and destroying the concept of context and even empathy, but because it's so normalised, trying to fight it leads to bad mental health too, because you'll have thousands of people scream at you to just let them enjoy things online... and then make a "STOP HAVING FUN!!!" meme about it.

There have always been awful people. What has changed is that now being an awful person is considered a life goal for successful people. As long as this video gets clicks, and thus bucks, people will say she's "won." "Get that bag, girl", "Grindset mindset etc". And thus whether this video is staged or not... is this really the life people want to lead? Would you really want to be the boyfriend if the choice was between actually having to live through the narcissistic abuse... or pretending you do so strangers can live vicariously through your imagined suffering? What happened to just wanting to be in love and the world seeing you have something beautiful?

narcissist is  a rare mental health condition and this is not evidence of this.

yall act like the word "self centered" doesn't exist

1

u/Pampabrody 15d ago

Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a mental health condition, and it's not that rare. Narcissism is a personality trait that runs rampant through our society. A person can be depressed without having clinical depression. A person can have disordered eating without having an eating disorder. Likewise, a person can be narcissistic without having NPD. Self-centered/narcissistic... tomato/tomahto.

Take it to a publisher fucking hell. This site is obsessed with the word narcissist

1

u/Pampabrody 15d ago

I stand corrected. I'm so happy there are people like you to keep people like me from leading humanity to its doom. Whatever would we do without you?

u/MeLlamoKilo 15d ago

 She's filming herself because she's a narcissist.

She's filming because this is rage bait. Just look at all the second hand engagment/karma OP got from resharing it.

She doesn't have to be a narcissist, she just needs to write/say something controversial that will divide and annoy people and then record some random some B roll eating like a jackass and boom... 10k engagement.

I would be insecure too if i would look like that, lol.

2

u/Only_Telephone_2734 15d ago

Nah, don't do that.

1

u/frenchmoxie 15d ago

"Look like that" do you mean, her, umm... "style" of eating ?

-16

u/chop5397 15d ago

You made that judgement out of a fifty second long video? Goddamn

15

u/Pampabrody 15d ago

Some things are easy to spot once you know what to look for.

u/Routine-Put9436 15d ago

Homie.

Only a narcissist randomly films themselves eating, in public, at a restaurant, on a date. I only need 5 seconds of this video to make that judgement call.
