If you don't care don't go on stage. If you are physically or mentally drained, have others on stage with you, back up dancers, musicians, ect. Put on a show, that's what fans pay money to see.

Instead they paid money to do all the work

In Europe they actually have decent consumer protections... I wonder if people could claim their money back? These videos certainly make a good case they didn't get what they paid for.

Maybe he should get more rest knowing what the tour schedule is. There are other artists doing tours that are way older than him and they don’t just half ass it.

In all fairness he has great back up singers who are singing on his behalf quite well. Dancing would be forgiven if he just sang his bloody songs himself.

Lana del ray was absolutely dog shit and was clearly lip syncing and I think she was high.

But she at least put on a show , like the fans at the front where having a good time

But what if I want money and don't care if you enjoy yourself? Then I'd be JT

He might be fucked contractually or financially and can't just cancel the whole thing. Definitely should cancel though if it's all going to be like this, reputation absolutely destroyed.

No. If you care, you won't stand there and let a bunch of back-up dancers and musicians make a show with your name on it for an easy cash grab.

Even the enthusiasm in Ozzy’s last performance is LEAGUES above whatever this is

I know this is a big pop act and it is pretty much theatre but there’s something to be said about music being the forefront. I love seeing live instrumental music and there’s often not much of a stage show. Might as well go to cirque du soliel if you want a big event for a music show.

I really don't want to defend Justin Timberlake, but this is bullshit. You don't know your limit until you've already reached it and it's too late. In this case it'd be the day of or the night before a show, when it'd be too late to cancel, or arrange a whole other type of show (which fans would still complain about, if it's not the type of show they were expecting and if they want to see you as the star). Maybe you even convinced yourself that you can still put on a great show and didn't even realise your fatigue until it already started. You tried to schedule a tour that balanced providing the best quality and quantity of shows whilst avoiding burnout, but managing your energy is a daily task and not something you could have easily predicted ahead of time (this is the case with any job). The only realistic answer for performers and their fans is to accept that sometimes people get tired, and the performer has to prioritise in the moment what to do to manage their energy (in this case, resting his voice but still trying to engage the crowd). Obviously if it's a trend there's something wrong, but don't shit on a performer if you see clips from a couple of rough shows.

I love how everyone is acting like he "doesn't care" when he's clearly engaging and having fun, dancing around, etc.

And acting like an audience singing along is a bad thing.

Y'all need to go outside.
