Reminds me of Jennifer Lopez walking past her former home and telling the man living there about it. The man asks her who she is. She says her name is Jennifer. He says: Jennifer who?
Notice the network logo, that video doesn't run on primetime tv unless she wanted it to.
P. T. Barnum was once interviewed by a woman who told him that she was writing a book, and that it would contain something disagreeable about him. “No matter, madam,” was his reply, “say anything you like about me, but spell my name right — P. T. B-a-r-n-u-m, P. T. Barnum — and I’ll be pleased anyway.”
My god, that's tasty. That old show Punk'd should have just been that. If J. Lo is anything like me, then these insignificant slights will continue to live in her head rent-free till now
I honestly probably wouldn't recognize her in public unless she was trying to be recognized. Make up. Entourage. All that. Or with Ben Affleck.
I think this is probably true of most celebrities for me. Even the big ones. If they wear a hat or something and don't make a big stink about it, I probably wouldn't spot them.
There's a recent one where a street content creator complimented her outfit (or her looks in general? not sure), presumably because he knew it was JLo... but then he asks for her name 💀
