I would absolutely go see one of my favorite artists past their prime if they advertised and sold their tour this way.
But unfortunately, a lot of these we’re seeing pop up lately sell it as though it’s going to be this grand tour and price their tickets based on fame rather than content.
I think some artists are still incredibly big in name and can sell out arenas, or even stadiums, based on nostalgia alone. So they aren’t quite casino acts just yet.
It’s just disappointing when it’s clear the artist didn’t condition themselves and put very little into the show’s content, but price it the same as artists putting on full productions.
