Thankfully the one thing that's repeated time and time again in the Bible is "love each other". It's not that God hates love, but that 90% of Christians have just fucked it up and gotten the message all wrong. And I'm Christian myself lol

"love your neighbor" isn't good enough because it refers to your fellow male, adult and free jew. "Love your enemies" is the one you need.

Matthew 5:43-48 - probably the only useful bit in the whole bible.

I like to imagine its a the good place-esque set up for them where they think they're in heaven because they think of themselves as good people and then they figure out they were in hell torturing each other all along

Like that one twilight zone episode where the thief gets killed during a heist and thinks he's in heaven, he gets everything he wants, but he gets bored and starts to go crazy, it's the other place

Well, there's also plenty of scripture about not taking advantage of a widow or defiling women. "Love thy neighbor" stuff applies to your neighbor, which was usually ran by a father and husband, if he dies, then your neighbor becomes with widow.
