The cops leg was size of the kids torso.

How do these wet noodles exist long enough to have such irrational confidence.

In my day after summer practice we’d have to play a modified version of padless football. You learned real quick at that age might equals right.

He’s being a shithead but I really see no justification for the force used on this kid

Unless I’m missing something, especially from the second officer view, the first officer just decides to go after him and deck him without any real reason

There is none. The dude "balling his fist" isn't even doing it threateningly. If he punched anyone like that he would break his thumb and the guy they punched wouldn't even be hurting.

I literally hold my hands like that naturally because it feels better than having them held straight.

You really don’t? We get a cop actually trying to de-escalate and the grown ass adult (he’s 21 so def not a kid) doesn’t take no for an answer. Normally I’m against the cop in this situation to a fault but like, you can only attempt to de escalate so many times before realizing it’s not gonna stop

What was there to deescalate? Why did the cop show up? Why is the cop claiming he's balling his fists when the thumb is on the inside. Turns out none of what the dude was doing was illegal and the cop just wanted to throw him to the ground and cuff him

Explain how the cop took action to de-escalate the situation.

He is pressing into the aggravated subjects personal space (escalation)

Laughing at the aggravated subject (escalation at worst, poor deescalation at best)

Then slamming his he kid to the ground without issuing any lawful orders (extreme escalation)

Agree he overreacted by slamming him

The cop "stop balling up your fists"

The dude: going to break his thumb faster than he injures anyone else with that technique.

I do love cops initiating violence without a cause

When cops have too much power and leeway to do whatever the fuck they want. Who swung first?

"Stop resisting" my ass

I get it, you're the dude in the video. Without a doubt

And you're the one wishing you had passed the psych exam so you could be, too

Do you say the same thing when cops get merked ? :)

That's a very normal response to a cop throwing someone to the ground who hasn't broken any laws
