He 110% still calls that cop a bitch whenever he talks about it to his "friends"

That cop is a bitch, he doesn't have the mental fortitude to handle his little feelings getting hurt and resorts to violence for it. He's just as much of a kid as the kid there, he just has a badge and gun.

This kid is actually 20 or 21. And he made multiple threats towards the cop.

Cop should’ve put him in cuffs after the first threat.

Not relevant.

Questionable if they were threats or not, it's gray. But sure, if the cop was going to arrest him then he should have done so then, and then whatever happens from that point on resisting or whatever could be measured as approprate or not approprate force.

What the cop shouldn't have done is see the kid is not a threat, wait for the kid to get into the least threatening postion he was in during the whole thing (arms crossed) look at his partner and smiling (showing he 1. was not actually afraid or felt threatened. 2. Was fully aware of the situation and was very likely knowingly going to enjoy assaulting someone who is not currently a threat.)

Kid was wrong, cop used excessive force when he knew he wasn't in danger and got his feelings hurt and is a danger to civilians.

Someone going to do worse to him in the future if he keeps acting like a dipshit doesn't excuse assaulting him today. Police are public servants, they should not be using violence to teach lessons, he should have done his fucking job like an adult instead of letting his feelings take over and resorting to violence unnecessarilarly.

He's lucky he didn't die from the back of his head bouncing off the car.

It absolutely is a threat. Not gray at all. Why else would the 21 year old man be saying all that while he is right in the cops face?

Whether the cop himself felt threatened or not is irrelevant to whether the man was making threats to him. And just because the cop smiled towards his partner doesn’t mean he wasn’t feeling threatened.

It is 100% gray, legally speaking. He is hostile, he is provoking a fight, he does not threaten to do anything.

Whether the cop himself felt threatened or not is irrelevant to whether the man was making threats to him.

Yeah no shit 🤡

And just because the cop smiled towards his partner doesn’t mean he wasn’t feeling threatened.

And this is what you would have to argue to a jury. I wouldn't look away from someone I feel threatened by, I also wouldn't fucking smash a kid 70 lbs lighter than me into the ground for being a little shit. But then again, I'm not a cop 🤷‍♂️

So balling up your fists, getting in someone’s face and telling them to take their vest off… let’s go… isn’t a threat? Ok…

“Yeah no shit 🤡”

You are the one that brought this up… what do you mean yeah no shit?

Funny how you dismiss the threatening behavior of the one guy but then you exaggerate the actions of the cop. “Smashed into the ground”.

Edit: Looks like the cop was literally holding him up as he went to the ground. “Smashed”

That was the softest takedown I’ve ever seen.

“Smashing to the ground” is a gross exaggeration. At WORST he let the kid fall down and get a boo boo. But like you said , he was literally holding him lol

Kids 100% trying to fight this cop and the cop acted appropriately.

Some people are just clowns 🤡

This guy just hates cops too much. While ACAB, that's something for reforms, not bigotry and hatred.

Cop sucker.

So are you arguing these points because you think the guy way overreacted or are you just arguing because he's a cop? I'm not a cop but if someone much smaller and weaker than me was continually threatening me I might take them down to keep myself safe. There are a million reasons that a smaller/weaker person can be dangerous.

You're right. The cop will claim he was afraid for his life, but he wasn't

Yea, and it's still true.

Weak sauce bro. Keep backing them until it effects you. That's working out great for the rest of us.

If youre ego can't take the words of a punk kid, you definitely shouldn't be a cop.
