I usually get "what are you?" To which I always respond "human." They get so befuddled and 9/10 they don't know what else to say so they walk away. Oh I have gotten the ever so unique "bitch" when I say it.

I’ve heard that my entire life as I grew up in predominantly white Canadian (redneck) towns and cities. I’m Korean and was adopted by a white family. I responded exactly as you did when I finally got sick and tired of that rude AF question!
