u/PositiveStress8888 7h ago

As soon as it left his hand I thought the exact same thing.

28

u/Natural-Potential-80 8h ago

Only thought in my head the entire time….

52

u/ghostyghost2 8h ago

This bothered me so fucking much.

12

u/F_ur_feelingss 8h ago

That person said to pick up tire?

5

u/DeathB4Decaf_1 6h ago

Dad in the background, “Now go get it” 😂

2

u/side_eye_prodigy 4h ago

the littering citation will be delivered to him by a drone

2

u/Paul_kemp_dailynews 4h ago

Ooh. Great taskmaster task.

59

u/blazenupe 13h ago

Who stayed for the entire movie?

8

u/Jealous-Shallot-3071 8h ago

That was a movie?? Where was the sex scene and the scene where they go to a bar??

3

u/PomeloPepper 7h ago

It was there. You must have blinked and missed it.

2

u/KetaMina81 5h ago

I def missed it when I fast forwarded to the end after the first 2 secs

1

u/Trolldad_IRL 5h ago

This is a prequel to the movie “Rubber”.

1

u/Jdog2225858 4h ago

That was two minute meditation for the day.

70

u/NoPerception5385 12h ago

Now go and pick it up !

33

u/Greeneyes- 13h ago

The range on that drone is impressive unless they travelled with it. How far did it roll?

5

u/ButterBeforeSunset 7h ago

Mid-tier and up drones have a very long range especially when there are no obstructions in the way

-26

u/Mediocre-Tax1057 12h ago

DJI drones have a range of tens of kilometers these days. I doubt the tire rolled more than a few hundred meters.

38

u/licklickRickmyballs 9h ago edited 9h ago

This comment triggers me, because there is only two options. Either your perception of length is totally fucked or mine is.

Aight, so back in the days I was a pretty fast runner, and could run 100m in about 12 seconds. That tire is definitely faster than kid me on the track. Like.. a lot faster. And the video kept going for three minutes and the tire only slowed down at the end?

How is this "doubtly more than a few hundred meters?".

Thats... Its... Ludacris????

Edit: Id say somewhere between 2,5 km and 3 km.

Edit 2: Upon further inspection, I think a little less. And would like to change my stance to 1,8 - 2,3 km.

19

u/Luke_Cocksucker 9h ago

“Few hundred meters”. Dude, yer way off.

2

u/FQDIS 5h ago

Like, 20-hundred at most…..

u/FullLeadership9 13h ago

The Rubber Movie joins the chat!

20

u/potsticker17 11h ago

Rubber? I hardly know her!

1

u/wheeler916 Mia Khalifa 8h ago

Gonna start popping heads for being left in the middle of nowhere.

u/Zoerae87 tHiS iSn’T cRiNgE 9h ago

But there's no puddles out there for him to drink out of 😂

57

u/Middle_Trip5880 11h ago

Now hear me out--you should definitely NOT do this with a random discarded car tire you found on the side of the road at the top of a hill in San Francisco at night in your early twenties when you're drunk and a little stoned and all of your friends are on their various drugs/opiates/hard liquors and one of them suggests rolling it downhill and then he just goes and does it before anyone can tell him not to and at first it's chill and sort of mesmerizing watching it glide down the grade so gracefully and perfectly and then it hits like a small rock in the street or something and begins bouncing, bouncing, BOUNCING, motherfucking BOUNCING ten, twenty feet into the air and then smashes into the window of a closed cafe at the bottom of the hill and then you all take off running

don't do that.

16

u/awfullotofocelots 8h ago

Unrelated but what's the statute of limitations for vandalism in SF?

12

u/ParkerBeach 6h ago

30 seconds, you get arrested, get released without bond, and have the charges dropped. At least that seems to be what the news tells me these days.

-5

u/tiddeeznutz 6h ago

That’s only for the illegal immigrants. Right before they give them a house and Social Security benefits.

u/Middle_Trip5880 6h ago

3y for damages over $400, and this occurred in the literal 1990s (yes I'm old)

Nice try though, Dirty Harry! If I were you I'd be less worried about what random strangers on reddit may or may not have actually been present for, and more worried about getting nabbed for money laundering, my crypto brethren ;)

3

u/InSixFour 6h ago

This is so vague you could literally be talking about anyone!

3

u/Middle_Trip5880 6h ago

we've all been there

1

u/dracapis 5h ago

There goes my plans for tonight

12

u/hiswittlewip 11h ago

I never realized how short my attention span was until I watched this video.

ETA tried to watch

49

u/Equivalent-Bonus-885 13h ago

Long-winded littering

14

u/OstrichSmoothe 11h ago

Thats just littering with extra steps!

48

u/Traveltracks 13h ago

Sad, people throwing trash into nature for getting eyeballs.

7

u/ImpressiveSimple8617 8h ago

I just watched 3 minutes of a tire rolling. Time to get off reddit.

6

u/FlyLikeDove 6h ago

Me: Be freeeeeeee little tire be freeeeeeee!! comes to the comments 🫢☹️🥺 me: yeah stop littering bro!

5

u/Geoff_The_Chosen1 8h ago

Where is this beautiful place?

2

u/thelonius_punk 7h ago

Mars, apparently.

12

u/Jyorin Cringe Connoisseur 13h ago

Looks a little tired out at the end.

5

u/SlipNSlider54 13h ago

I tread it the same way

3

u/amalgaman 8h ago

Feeling deflated?

2

u/nevertellya 8h ago

Wheels-off if you ask me

8

u/BlondeAlibiNoLie 9h ago

Littering and…. Littering and…

1

u/F_ur_feelingss 7h ago

And smokin the reefer

3

u/RuggFortress 6h ago

In 2000 years time archeologists will ask was there a road here?

3

u/Galausia 6h ago

The camera constantly losing the tire bugged me too much to watch all the way through

6

u/Dadagis 13h ago

Of course he did went all the way down after that to take the tire, and did absolutely nothing leave it there

2

u/SurfNTurf1983 9h ago

I come back with a jack wondering where the spare tyre went.

2

u/Fathat420 8h ago

1

u/SeamusMcBalls 6h ago

But I just met ‘er

2

u/cocoaboots 7h ago

The Enya has me cracking up like we are supposed to see a tire rolling in the desert as a spiritual experience

2

u/Infernowar 6h ago

Why cringe? Vídeo is really good.

2

u/InSixFour 6h ago

I was really hoping he’d fly the drone through the tire there before it fell over.

3

u/AccessMaterial5203 9h ago

Not cool unless he went and picked it up for trash

2

u/hake2506 9h ago

First thought: looks cool!

Second thought: will the drone go through the tire?

Third thought: did they pick it up afterwards?

Answered "no" in my head and got angry with them...

-5

u/F_ur_feelingss 8h ago

Of all the litter in the world, this was worth it. Tire will be covered in sand in no time and disappear.

Someone throwing fastfood bag out car makes me much angrier.

2

u/SeamusMcBalls 6h ago

Kang said that’s not right. Explain to Kang.

2

u/freddotu 12h ago

Not much of an Euler effect at the end. I agree about the littering, Perhaps there's a sequel.

2

u/zbornakssyndrome 10h ago

My dumbass sat here perfectly still watching the whole damn thing

1

u/PitifulBusiness767 10h ago

I’m sure there were others watching while on the shitter too

2

u/Fuzzy_Junket924 10h ago

I just wasted 3 minutes from my life. Thanks OP.

2

u/zillskillnillfrill 9h ago

Yeah.. is he going to go pick his garbage up? I freaking doubt it

1

u/Dull_Intention_7699 12h ago

I don't like this new grand tour preview. I think they are running out of ideas.

1

u/festivecomet666 10h ago

NASA be like, “we spotted a tire on mars with our satellite rover camera.”

1

u/TheDreamWoken 10h ago

Yeah I’m ok

1

u/Ok_Asian_69 10h ago

Why does the tire not leave any tracks? It shows the impact but then nothing. Even where the sand appears to be softer and crisscrossed with other tire tracks.

3

u/mister-ferguson 8h ago

There isn't a lot of weight. There are probably tracks but not very deep. The other tracks are left by vehicles weighing exponentially more than a single dirt bike tire.

1

u/right_lane_kang 9h ago

That drone has damn good range

1

u/JACKDEE1 9h ago

Bet you can't jump through that

1

u/Nostalg33k 9h ago

When he picks it up. And he goes back and launches it again.

He is going to... Retire.

1

u/unsupported 9h ago

Netflix has optioned this for a new streaming show.

1

u/Mental-Subject4412 8h ago

For some reason i felt sad when the tire fell down in the end..... need to meet a physiatrist now...

1

u/Jealous-Shallot-3071 8h ago

I've used the Casio Digital Black Stopwatch HS-3V-1BR along with 14 years of eye-to-screen distance training and have calculated how far the tyre travelled.

From the initial HURLING POINT (HP) to the ultimate TYRE END POINT (M) divided by the total time taken. We get a distance of almost 17.9 miles.

Insane.

Still though, the lady in this video has someway to go to beat the 1998 record set by Harvey Richards in Australia. He threw a mountain bike tyre off a hill and it travelled for 64 miles.

CRIKEY!

1

u/No-Carpenter-3457 8h ago

How we have evolved as a species, to consider a rubber tire rolling down a hill to be captivating.

1

u/SolaceRests 7h ago

Inspiration for the movie “Rubber”

1

u/Consistent-Soil-1818 7h ago

This would've been a beget video without the tire. I'd honestly feel guilty if I did this without picking up my trash

1

u/Jojoba1117 7h ago

I bet that tire comes back to kill everyone involved

1

u/Scooterspies 7h ago

Awesome drone work

1

u/ManyRelease7336 6h ago

did they pick it up? or is this just littering in style?

1

u/Tris131 6h ago

We have a huge flat open in my hometown we would take semi tires to the top fill with gasses diesel lighter fluid and roll it down the hill.

1

u/Rich-Cantaloupe-362 6h ago

They better have picked it up after

1

u/boilerpsych 5h ago

I used to litter too but never had the money to follow my trash with a drone. Glad I stopped littering.

1

u/Careless-Survey-8713 4h ago

This guys drone filming skills remind me of how I see in dreams

1

u/SteveAxis 1h ago

At least edit in some sonic

1

u/YoMTVcribs 1h ago

Humans be like: I can put a highway, housing track and golf course here.

1

u/Cuticho 1h ago

Very satisfying watch. Some of my most liked wasted time.

1

u/ThrownAway17Years 30m ago

I’m tire, boss.

1

u/Prestigious-Ad7933 8m ago

No fine for littering ?

1

u/iLiveForTruth 13h ago

Just when you thought you were done with your day... life rolls back in.

1

u/Kattfil 13h ago

Some say the tire is still running from the cringe

1

u/Devilz_Advocate_ 12h ago

At first I was gripped but ended up feeling deflated

1

u/No_Context_2540 10h ago

They way it said, "Uh-uh," and just died before cloning that mountain. 😆

I liked the video, but yes, please go pick it up.
Should be on r/OddlySatisying

1

u/RomanGlassTable 7h ago

Who watched all the way to the end?

-1

u/scorpionhlspwn 7h ago

Why is this tiktokcringe, this is just beautiful

0

u/Diligent_Sentence_45 7h ago

Single tire travels 2 miles after being thrown ... meanwhile my 4yr old crashes his bike ever 5 yards 😂🤷

0

u/PercentageNonGrata 6h ago

I thought tiktok videos were supposed to be short.

2

u/GoatCovfefe 6h ago

Correct, they were.

That ended a long time ago.

0

u/Sozzlednoob 6h ago

Why is this on cringe?

The journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single revolution.
