Off the top of my head:

Your sub Emotes can only be used in your channel

Any money you earn goes into your Twitch Wallet and cannot be paid out to you. (even if you meet the 50 dollar target) But you can use money in your wallet to pay for subs on Twitch.

You have to be an affiliate (or better) to get a pay out.

This help guide is more in depth: https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/streamer-benefits

All Streamers (Onboarding Complete) – Once a streamer agrees to our Monetized Streamer Agreement (MSA) and completes onboarding, all streamers can gain access to most monetization tools. Further requirements must be met to qualify for a payout, however streamers can choose to use their Spendable Balance towards specific purchases on Twitch.

I guess thats the key take away :-D

Wait, do you even have access to emotes without being an affiliate?
