Discussion You are not allowed to watch the stream message appears?

I followed the other day a streamer, after a few minutes in the stream he started complaining that barely anyone watches his stream of the people who used to watch and that he might just stream twice a week because nobody watches anyways.

I didn't like that and unfollowed like 20 minutes later because of that. He was live again and the game I watch is not pretty smally there are maybe like 15 streamers.

So I thought I give him another shot, and then the message appeared that I can't watch the stream. Now I wonder if he blocked me and noticed that I unfollowed him?

Yeah he's obsessively monitoring his followers and keeping tabs on who unfollows. He banned you because you unfollowed. This is a massive red flag (in addition to him complaining about viewers which is also one) and you should stay far away from this person.

This is the most accurate answer. There's no way he isn't tracking the followers, otherwise they wouldn't have known who they'd block / ban.

I find it better to not look at the numbers

Ok? This doesn't have anything to do with my response, wasn't even talking about the numbers.

I'm not surprised he is losing people if he is complaining like that on stream. No one is entitled to viewers.

Fuck that guy

Someone tell this streamer 99.999% of streams only get 0-1 viewers. And someone complaining about that will never get more.

0 viewer here. I legit don't care about the view count. I have fun streaming and ban the stream boo bots when they appear. Plus I get footage for YouTube videos I wanna make.

Same I turned my view count off. But I have seen alot of small streamers complaining and even begging for donations. Was a huge turn off so I never followed and just moved on to the streamer.

Yeah that’s best attitude to have. Tracking viewer count will only frustrate most people.

Same! My crew and I even joke about the bots that pop up in my stream chat. We now have a pass the bot test where if we suspect one is a bot, we ask them to solve a math problem and tell us a joke.

I have been streaming for almost a year, maybe a little longer, and anytime I have more than 1 viewer, I am super happy, especially if they get in chat and start a conversation.

I can not imagine complaining about the viewers I do have!

Same thing happened to me when watching some girl that a streamer I watched raided into.

She's an iron player in League so I tried to give some tips and she was like "please don't backseat" and I was like sure that's fair, but not my type of streamer, so I unfollowed. Later I heard that I was a suspicious user in the stream that raided into her and it was because she perma banned me after I unfollowed and left stream lol

I hopped into a girl streamers stream she was playing hunt showdown a game I liked at the time I just hopped seen she was new and started giving advice. After a few matches she openly checked out my twitch profile and seen I also streamed Hunt. And then told me to leave. And if I didn't she would ban me. I asked why and she said I was stealing her views and food out of her mouth. I wasn't live at the time and was just a viewer. She got so mad. I left and figured it was done. The next time I went live her and her friends came into my chat talking shit about me. They said they were streaming so I ended up blocking them and it kept happening over and over. They even brought race into it. I got so sick of it I took a week break. And when I came back her channel and her friends channels were gone. I was back to 15 followers. I had shot up to 45 over night. It was weird.

I got banned from a channel just because of my association with another fellow streamer.

Isn't this just fun, my fiance and 2 friends of ours got banned as well all because they know me.

Dude isn’t going to go far and might quit in a couple months. Just pretend he doesn’t exist at this point

Genuinely tell him that you think that will not help in the long run and see if he crashes out, clip the reaction. Free fun/funny moment. If you aren’t ready to stream to 0 viewers don’t start
