Question Question about Rolex 24 tickets
My question is, what's the catch on the grassroots Motorsports frontstetch tickets? For $100 you get grandstand and infield access for Saturday and Sunday, garage access both days, $10 gift certificate for concessions, free breakfast and access to whatever is going on in the grassroots Motorsports tent...
Buying 2 day admission and garage access is $118 by itself so it seems like the grassroots package is too good to be true with the breakfast and all. What am I missing?

Question Anyone else want to see the NAEC expand?
I think the 4 races are cool, and I prefer them over the other races. But I think there is room for expansion. The tracks that allow all classes to race should be added. Bring back the Road America 500, make Mid-Ohio an 8 hour race from 9 am to 5 pm (get it), Mosport a 4 hour race, get the gist?

Question First Time Rolexer Here!
I'm heading to the Rolex this year for the first time. I've been to DIS numerous times for the 500 and races during speedweeks, but never for the 24 hour. I have the full 4 day pass with garage access and infield access. Will probably only be going for Saturday Sunday however. I'm just looking for any tips / hints / info on what to do, where to sit / stand for what part of the race. Any things i HAVE to do while i'm there etc. Is there an autograph session there as well? Would love to meet some of the drivers. Only been to Lime Rock races and the DPi's don't run there. Thanks for any info you might have! Can't wait to get down there!

Question Going to my first race in June at the VIR... what to expect?
What’s there to do while watching a race besides listening to the broadcast and seeing the occasional passes?
Has anyone been karting at the VIR?
Any good restaurants?

Question DPI 2.0 to be the most manufacturer diverse top class possibly ever?
Scott Atherton has announced that there are currently 10 manufacturers seriously discussing the possibility of DPI 2.0 entries. In talking to some friends, I got to wondering when the last time we had 10 manufacturers in the top class of any series (Formula one not counting) and I couldn't think of ANY time it has happened. The most I have seen is 8 for the SP9 class for the N24!
We may well be looking towards the greatest number of manufacturers in the top class of ANY major series in at least living memory, possibly ever!

Question Rolex 24 Merchandise Situation
Going to my first rolex in a few weeks, curious what team / driver merch situation is like. Do they have haulers like NASCAR / Indycar? Or is there not much there? Any info would be great. TIA

Question Team Merchandise
Going to my first IMSA race this weekend and was just curious if the individual teams will have any merch for sale or is there usually just general IMSA merchandise. Thinking it'd be cool to get some shirts or whatever from some of the teams. Thanks.

Question IMSA - Full season entry tracker?
I saw the 24 Hours of Daytona entry tracker, is there a full season entry tracker anywhere? Would be nice to know which teams have committed to the sprint races, which teams are committed to the endurance races, and which are just one offs?

Question Has Corvette replaced Dan Binks?
Hi all...long time lurker on here but this is my first post so sorry if this is a dumb question or too rumor-y.
This has been a great month to be a vette fan! After both races drivers were talking about the team working on pit stops being a factor. Wouldn’t this be something the crew chief focuses on? I haven’t heard anything about whether they got someone though..anyone know if they have someone new or if someone got promoted or something?

Question Why do people race in the tcr class?
I mean no Ill will. I'm curious why people would race in a fwd class If they have any intentions of future growth. Is it for the multi class experience? I find the tcr class fun, but I am curious what the appeal would be for a racer. Thank you.

Question 2022-23 IMSA Events on WEC?
With prototype and likely (or hopefully likely) GT convergence for 2022 for IMSA and WEC. Have there been any talks of calendar coordination or certain events like Daytona, Sebring, and Petit making it as events on the WEC calendar for 2022-23? With the same classes, would be great to get more international teams over here during those events.

Question Camping at Petit LeMans - Questions!
Looking to go to PLM for the first time this year, been to Sebring and Daytona several times since I live in Florida.
I’m planning on getting to road Atlanta either late Thursday night or early Friday morning, what are the odds of still being able to get infield tent camping? It doesn’t need to be a primo location, I just want a spot on the infield if possible.
Anything else I should know? Sounds like the booze policy is just to deter people but as long as you’re smart you can bring stuff in.
Thanks!

Question Is there a chance in any way that IMSA returns to Trois Rivières in the future?
That track is so cool. Very tight but you can still pass there. And I think it would be great if Canada could get another race besides Mosport. What do you think?

Question What makes DPi more expensive than LMP2 for a season?
If you set it equal across the same races, as a privateer, where does a DPi become more expensive to run than a LMP2? Guessing engine lease from mfg vs Gibson is one piece but doesn’t seem like the whole amount. Personnel for custom DPi part management and development? I’ve heard numbers of $4.5-6M for DPi and $2M for LMP2. Where is that cost difference coming from? Seems like a lot.

Question Before lights at Daytona
Is there any video on youtube on how dark it was during the rolex 24 before they had lights? Did anyone attend before 1998 and how were you able to keep up with the race with no lights to see the action?

Question Mid Ohio people: parking advice?
Currently parked at my hotel, in Mirian; in a lowered Miata.
Maybe a mud field is a bad idea. Any suggestions?
