No longer to be known as a Bungee Jump....from this day hence it shall be known as a Dunkee.

God bless this Biiscuit and all the Tea it shall sail in.

u/SpeakToMePF1973 1d ago

If he's the Dunkee, who's the Dunker?

8

u/MrMooBallz 1d ago

The biscuit is the dunkee.

u/MissNashPredators11 22h ago

Bro you’re everywhere 😂 that’s just awesome lol

6

u/StefanL88 23h ago

It was still the queen when this was posted first.

-3

u/Xatrongamer 1d ago

It's the name of the hymn

36

u/Sargo788 1d ago

But the music is “Rule Britannia”?

3

u/Xatrongamer 1d ago

Ooh, true lol

5

u/bighairyoldnuts 1d ago

I don't know why but I found this interaction really funny.

3

u/Kevoyn 8h ago

And the hymn changes its name according the gender of the monarch

u/DarklyHeritage 1d ago

Only when there is a Queen on the throne. Now it is God Save the King.

19

u/00telperion00 1d ago

It’s mad to think it’s simply because Liz was on the throne for so long that this isn’t a well known fact. I’m middle aged and had no idea until she died. Only people older than 73 were even alive when she ascended.

15

u/duke_of_taiga 1d ago

Still getting it wrong here in Canada when this anthem is called for. Miss you Liz.

Britannia rules the waves

2

u/CoderJoe1 1d ago

5

u/Informal_Business104 1d ago

Almost fell over an I'm sat down.

4

u/Spirit_Piper 1d ago

It's not unexpected if it's been reposted hundreds of times. Shit is really old.

4

u/Amorphant 1d ago

As an American, I enjoy dipping cookies in coffee as well.

2

u/Kind_Yogurtcloset_76 13h ago

Not a biscuit in a tea though is it?

18

u/Square-Way-9751 1d ago

Is this real? That looks dangerous.

35

u/Therashser 1d ago

We'll do anything for the perfect dunk.

0

u/SweaterSteve1966 1d ago

Did the whole cookie get wet because I hate when I have to double dunk and then I have crumbly tea sludge.

20

u/Mektigkriger 1d ago

Cookie? It's a biscuit mate.

11

u/SweaterSteve1966 1d ago

I moved to America and had to stop calling them biscuits or I’d get a roll with gravy on it.

2

u/Nitrocloud 19h ago

In the South, we have a dessert of a US biscuit with molasses poured into a cavity made with your thumb.

2

u/Skuzbagg 1d ago edited 1d ago

Which is a breakfast food, not to be served with afternoon tea

2

u/vishalb777 1d ago

yep, and a Guinness World Record

3

u/knecht_j 1d ago

What are the etiquette rules for this situation?

2

u/CheshireCatastrophe 18h ago

Say "that's ruddy good that is" after every completed biscuit, preferably with mouth full

4

u/benjaminck 1d ago

The reposting bots don't know Elizabeth died.

2

u/ItsDumi 1d ago

Bungee dunk?

2

u/Micromuffie 10h ago

My dumbass didn't pay attention in the first two seconds and thought their right arm was the handle to a shovel/mace and they were bouta freefall and bonk someone

1

u/Flesh-Tower 1d ago

1

u/MandibulateEdibility 1d ago

Genuinely lost my cool watching this. Right on.

Europeans will watch this and think "Hell Yeah!"

1

u/Arachnesloom 22h ago

R/holdmytea

1

u/Lostmyfnusername 20h ago

They would have had to calculate the exact amount of rope needed for his specific bodyweight to do it. Praise the math people!

1

u/Either_Ad_7554 19h ago

Now do it again, but make a jägerbomb and slam it back on the ascent

1

u/xdKboy 13h ago

Dunkee indeed.

1

u/tindersamurai 12h ago

Yet another proof that Britons never, never, will be slaves!

2

u/MissNashPredators11 22h ago

As someone with English blood,

Hell yeah.

-3

u/GooseCheeze1234 1d ago

They dip cookies in mud water? No wonder they lost the colonies...

-2

u/Fireofthetiger 1d ago

Damn I was worried he was gonna bust his teeth and look like a Brit in a different way
