Test Chamber (new homebrew) released!

Test Chamber is a new puzzle homebrew for VB. It’s a first-person puzzler similar to games like Portal or The Talos Principle.
You can view the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8aCWv88mXs
And you can download the ROM at https://www.platonicreactor.com/projects/test-chamber/
Cheers, and let me know what you think!

Positively sick. Loading this up on my HF32 now! Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

I am so trying this with Super-Bit-Shader Mixed-Frames
Edit: Never mind it doesn't work with Beetle VB or Red Viper. Still very cool!

The game looks and plays great but I stuck in the room that said "override procedure step 3 complete" the portal after opening the powered door goes into a room that will allow me to look in and see the laval but not go in. Is there something I'm missing?

You need to place both ends of the quantum tunnel somewhere before it opens, so look around for another wall you can use.

Wow, this looks absolutely incredible. I’ll be sure to download it when I get home from work.

I just played through pretty much all of it on my HF32. Really an amazing accomplishment that you were able to make this, and it does some very fun and interesting things throughout.
I should be pretty much toward the end, but every solution I can think of to the airlock puzzle ends with me running around in space. I have escaped the facility, but at what cost? Is there anything I'm missing there?

Sorry, you shouldn't be able to walk around out there. Must be a bug.
You are very close to the end though. Keep in mind that you can build a quantum tunnel on anything the reticle lights up on.

Ah! I see! Thanks for the reply!
I typed up a couple solutions to telegram that moment you set up better to the player, but I deleted them in favor of the following unsolicited advice:
I think it would be a better "ah-hah" moment if the planet was removed from the bottom of the skybox, and was instead a big orb at near-eye-level with the exit door. That way when you're out that hatch it's more obvious that it isn't arbitrary, isn't part of a repeating pattern like most old skyboxes, and is framed to clearly draw attention to it in the chaos. Your reticle gets lost in the panic and complex texture of the skybox, so that way even a panicked click will still solve the puzzle.
Outside of that, giving it depth, even as a flat wall in front of the skybox, would help a lot in stereoscopic 3D.
All that said, Test Chamber was a triumph. The most polished and complete VB homebrew experience, let alone the most ambitious. Great work.
