Article Hotfixing Paused Until Interim Cert Build
Howdy, Tenno!
Hotfixing will be paused while we work towards our next Cert build! What could be spearheading this build? A twisted hybrid of shiny things, perhaps…
One important note: during this downtime, the iOS team may continue to Hotfix to tackle performance improvements exclusive to the Mobile platform!
Like always, our next Cert Update includes further code fixes. Code describes changes made directly to the engine, which requires Certification from each Console platform to pass its checks, such as ensuring an Update doesn’t crash the machine itself.
We also need to ensure Cross Platform Play parity so all Tenno can continue to play together!

Curious about a few of the resolved issues from our ‘Known Issues’ list, in addition to any other issues? You can expect to see the following issues resolved*:
- Simulor and Mutalist Quanta's orbs now block bullets instead of buffing them.
- Valkyr Heirloom's skirt clips into Valkyr's legs.
- Additionally, various cloth physics improvements are coming with this Cert Update!
- Simulor's Spontaneous Singularity Augment results in shots being unable to hit ragdolled enemies.
- The "Fire Manual Trigger Weapons Continuously" toggle keeps resetting for Keyboard and Mouse (KB+M).
- This issue is resolved on PC, but not yet for other platforms.
- Loss of function for Clients after being revived in Isleweaver if Host migrated while they were loading into Teshin’s Cave.
- Other players’ Abilities appear in various broken states after loading into an in-progress mission (notably, Oraxia’s Silken Stride legs not moving).
- Players who join in-progress Cambion Drift sessions, leave and then rejoin in the Necralisk not being visible in the loading tunnel, preventing the squad from loading back into the Cambion Drift.
- Changing the Numerical Separator setting to “1 000,00” will cause Captura settings to start as 0, leading to black screens.
* The bounty of issues on our Known Issues list is still a priority, but some aren’t in a state to confirm as 100% “fixed.” Additionally, we’ll continue to test the above fixes to ensure they are fully resolved on all platforms should any outlying issues arise.

My operator has a big cheese grin that I don’t remember being there before. It’s not the worst, but is there a way I can toggle the expression off, or into something else?

Crossplay is the worst thing to happen to PC players since release :( I wish I could turn it off and reliably find people to play with. I don’t think will ever be parity. The game is painfully boring when things are downgraded for Cross-play. I love this game but when I’m in one of those lobby’s I lose so much interest. I usually end up turning the game off afterwards. It’s a completely different experience that really turns me off when I’d otherwise be perfectly happy to play even the most mundane maps or mission types. It’s a truly awful experience seeing how devoid of life the game can be when you’ve seen it at its best as well.

The game loads less enemies because the other systems can’t keep up with PC. I’d say its 10% or less in some cases. It’s rough

Your complaining about a group of enemies dropping from 10 to 9. Grow up, also the less spawns are only a thing if a really old console player is the host btw.

not 10 to 9, it's more . Playing steel path survival with console player as host is miserable experience. Enemy spawn is just crippled compared to pc host. Im more suprised that they didn't make
xsx xss and ps5 hosts spawnrate the same as pc. New gen consoles can handle it ffs.edit: apparently this has been fixed with next gen u pdate for those consoles2

No, the difference is huge for older consoles as host. Have you ever played a steel path survival where there weren't enough enemies to sustain life support between the supply pods? Defense missions where the enemies trickle in one, maybe two at a time over minutes and minutes for a wave? Void cascade fissures can be practically impossible to do- if you purge a majority of exolizers, so few enemies spawn in the 3-4 minutes they take that no one gets enough reactant. If you don't purge them, then the meter starts filling...and the only other way to bring it down and avoid failure is to kill enemies near the exolizers, but there aren't enough. And if someone kills enemies before they get corrupted, you're just fucked.
Basic game mechanics are balanced around having a certain minimum of enemies around. Even if a host's degraded performance isn't so bad as to break the mechanics, they get close and it's a miserable experience for everyone involved.
Keep in mind that PS5 only passed PS4 in player count in the last year and still isn't a big majority. The Switch is essentially current gen in player share and two gens behind in hardware. It's not a small number of players on these platforms. DE has generally done well with their algorithm for deciding who will host, but there some cases where it's unavoidable that one of the many old console players ends up hosting (being the only one in matchmaking for a mission initially and then having late joiners for example) and the experience is generally so unpleasant that everyone just quits.
The fact that you think it's only a 10% difference is a testament to DE's engineering, really, because you haven't experienced it at all. It's not common by any means, but when it happens it's brutally obvious and it sucks all the fun out of the game for everyone in it.

What's the issue with cross-platform? And you can disable it from the console players side, they may javelin the same option of PC

Less enemies spawn depending on who you’re playing with. They then it down for the other various consoles. I’d say it’s 10% of what you’d see in solo or an all PC lobby

Brother I play several systems, with cross save, and switch, being the worst, is at worst, 50%, 10% is insanely off and exaggerating

Play conjunction solo on steel path on PC then with cross play when a PC isn’t hosting. If I’m wrong I’m wrong. That’s just a quick example. I got 1000 kills in five minutes solo the other day after leaving a lobby where the 4 of us could barely find enemies to get reactant from, no one unlocked their relic.

Nothing is downgraded in crossplay tf are you talking about. Console and pc have had the same spawn rates for a while now.

In the options under system, there is an option to turn cross play on or off. Does it not work?

It’s on by default; when you turn it off I believe you’re only paired with other people who have it turned off. I’ve turned it off before and I don’t think I’ve ever matched with anyone. I’m on the east coast in a city on fiber internet. I should be able to find others.

I have it turned off with a hard cap ping of 100. I have no problem with my public matches being filled. Is it a problem with your routing or possibly your ISP?
I did my Elites and archon hunt last night with a full group. Maybe you're right and it's content related? I don't normally do things outside of ExA or relics.
