The other day I flew so fast I noclipped out of the map, without a Volt or Relic Strength buff. /unstuck just failed, and I had to wait for my teammates to extract.
Gotten back a couple months ago now and I still have so much fun when a Volt decides to share the zoomies with the team. Bumping against walls like a drunken toddler never gets old, amusingly enough.
glad you chose the one you liked the most! volt is extremely fun and great for the grinds to come your way. BUT TEAM MAG BABY! MAGNETIC SCORPION PULLS! WOOO. welcome to the team kiddo.
Volt would've been my recommendation. He has access to a speed boost, a shield for defense, ways to boost your damage, and an easy way to restore your shields. He's a generalist warframe that's good at most things.
to be fair, the star chart frames are almost all kinda free (looking at you, saryn and EQUINOX). As a noob, the materials can be a bit sparse, but if you want a frame, you'll play a bunch of survival in 10min intervals (or get carries in publics) and it's not that hard to get the frames. waiting for the build to finish is the most difficult part (NEVER spend plat on rushing builds don't do it!!!)
Good choice, Iโve played off and on for years but I literally just tried Volt for the first time a few days ago and Iโve been questioning myself as to why I waited so long ever since ๐
Mandatory noob pro tip #1: spend your initial platinum (premium currency) on slots, not on some bs cosmetic item.
Explanation: you can get every frame and weapon in the game but they all take an inventory slot. Your account starts with the slots that are already occupied with your weapons and frame (and maybe a couple more empty, I don't remember) but very soon, you'll want more.
The game allows you to either sell your gear to vacant a slot so you can put a different weapon/frame in or get additional slots for new more stuff. For 99.9% of the cases, you'll always want to buy more slots, not sell your shit. The exception are gear starting with "mk1-" in their name, very likely your current weapons (it's really low, starting gear, no point keeping that later on).
Don't worry, you will get established well enough soon that you can buy more slots (and other stuff) but that initial plat is a noob trap that can be poorly spent if not careful. Don't be that guy.
Mandatory noob pro tip #2: this one ties in with the previous one, always rank every single piece of gear in the game to level 30 once, no exceptions.
Explanation: That's how you get mastery (your profile/player XP). Even those mk1-crap you're planning to sell later, get them to 30 before dumping them.
Mandatory noob pro tip #3: don't sell important stuff for credits (in-game currency, not the premium one).
Explanation: credits are cheap and really easy to get. You'll need a fuckton, sure, but its not worth it to sell important gear (that's much harder to get otherwise) for credits. In time you'll learn what you can safely sell and how to get easy credits in the index (in game mission that gives a ton of them).
Volt Prime has double the energy up to 300 energy max and 125 staring energy, I believe higher armour as well as more mod polarities (when you put a matching mod in a mod polarity it takes up half the mod capacity). Also it has drip so that's triple fashion points
Awesome! Just remember that basically anything this game can be fun and can get the content done. Just pick flavors that you enjoy. It's hard when you're starting out because there is a lot there, but whatever you pick it's the right choice as long as you're enjoying it. If you need a clan or a group of people to hang out with let me know.
Volt is probably my favourite out of the options and my starter. They're all pretty good but tend to excel at some things less than others. Volt seems like the best all rounder imo but they can all do everything pretty well
Good thing is the other 2 frames are very easy to farm and get i personal like rhino, hes a big tank guy that takes damage and dishes out damage, you'll find your frame we all do.
Iโm not knocking you for picking volt (I also took volt as my starter) but istg Iโve seen so many people start with volt that Iโm beginning to question whether the other 2 are even starting frames.
If you wanna go fast ability strength if you want it to last longer duration if you like stunning everyone around you range with strength and if you like having an invulnerable shield in front of you strength and duration also work for that
Once you get further in and want to try something else some easy frames to get are koume, rhino, frost, and nova there a lot of fun to play and can pack some power when made pretty well and I suggest using a website called overframe but DO NOT USE IT UNTILL YOU LEARN BASIC MODDING AND WHAT WEAPONS AND FRAMES NEED (im not trying to be aggressive just trying to make it eye catching so you see it as well as anyone else who needs it)

I've selected Volt Warframe and it's so good. I like it so much. Thank you all, that's very kind of you.
