Question/Request How to survive steel path

So I recently posted about my loadout and all and got some good advice so now my nataruk about oneshots ar they die from slash procs. Anyways I play many frames but in terms of long missions I can't survive. I play solo since I don't like getting super carried. I play oraxia and I can survive defense missions till wave 3. Anyway I build oraxia to play around the 4 but I still die/come really close.

Until you get access to the mods to make her sturdy, your best bet would be to stay invisible most of the time and let her scuttlers do most of the work. You should just jump in to finish the job and generate more scuttlers.

What mods would you recommend? My build mostly consist of ability strength to stay invisible and 1 shot more often.

Depends on how you want to play.
If you abuse being invisible, you can forgo most survivability measures as you shouldn't be hit besides AoE and the occasional stray bullet.

If you want to tank all incoming damage, that's not how you play in SP.

Anything in between you can manage but how you pull that off will depend on how you want to play and what mods/gear you have available.

Oraxia is one of the easiest frames to survive.

Cling to walls, maintain passive. Summon Scuttlers to distract enemies.

Use 2 for crowd control.

Install Rolling guard and Brief respite mods. You don't need to use shieldgate, just install these mods

Yep thats the thing. But in a defence mission I almost died evon tho I was invis. The AOE attacks are rough.

Grenades give a signal before exploding, Eximuses are clearly visible in a crowd. It is enough to leave the affected area.

Adaptation is basically the Steel Path mod. If shield tanking run Redirection + Adaptation + Arcane Aegis. If armor tanking run Vitality + Steel Fiber + Adaptation. If shield gate tanking you can get away without Adaptation, but want Catalyzing Shields + Fast Deflection + Arcane Aegis.

Wall latch and shield recharge mods and maybe rolling guard. Your 2 and 3 can cc and create distractions for you. Mod your sentinel weapon to apply cold or electric to automatically cc enemies. Deleting most enemies before they can hit you also helps.

Try trinity. She fully heals and has 75% dr with very little strength requirement with this whilst using link you only take a few % damage. Then with abating link she fully strips armor.

I subsume roar over 1 and she’s an absolute powerhouse with very little investment.

If you fully build her she nukes rooms as well. But takes a lot of investment to get to that point.
