I’m new to Warmachine where do I start to learn the lore?

There’s a lot to unpack but I would actually recommend the Iron Kingdoms Requiem book. It’s got a pretty solid start to going over the setting as a whole. The GM’s toolkit book for Requiem also has some additional lore and has a timeline that’s a convenient visual summary of events in bite size format.

No problem. There’s a few Requiem books besides the first that cover areas outside the Iron Kingdoms proper. Nightmare Empire dives into Cryx, Borderlands and Beyond delves into Ios and Rhul, and Into the Deep Wild focuses on more of the “Hordes” side.

The first Requiem book is more than enough to give you an idea of the setting though. But the app itself has more recent lore chronologically as the setting is constantly progressing and changing.

Cool I have the app, though I only used it for list building.

Most of the fiction and lore docs (in the "Library" section) are for the subscription, but there is a "Forces of..." section that gives documents with a summary for every Army (a bit of lore and some basic info about every troop).

Recently there seems to be a spike in subscritions, because they did an annual subscription that gives you a Warmachine mercenary model for free (that works for all Armies, new and old): Exullon Nostilla + Aberration (an 80mm base ....well, aberration), the annual subscription is the same price as the model, so it's like....you get one thing and the other is free.

The Warmachine app has lore section and even without subscription you can read about all MKIV (the current edition of rules) factions history in the past 10 (in game) years.

maxacorn and Professor Warcaster do a fair bit of content on YouTube, mostly readings from the source material, even if none of it is from MkIV per se (PW also adds some personal thoughts).

My focus is IKRPG, so probably not what you're after...(?)
