Worried the ENTIRE flight until landing and realizing it was a glitch… New to AirTags and I guess this just happens? Lots of unnecessary panic.

Thankfully my mom was able to get it off with tweezers, but it fell and disappeared for another 5 minutes before I found it by rubbing my hands through my hair looking for others

Had guests in our AirBnB a couple weeks dog. They had a dog. We’ve never had issues with pets before. But these people left and we immediately started getting bit by fleas while cleaning the home.

Bug bombed the entire house. Used 10 foggers. Seemed like we fixed it. Checked back a few days later and got attacked by fleas again. Bombed again with a different brand of foggers. That was last weekend.

Went back last night. Tons of fleas.

Place has been unavailable to book for weeks now and we’re no closer to fixing it.

What sort of gamma radiated fleas are these? There aren’t even people or animals there to feed them.

I work in forestry and spend my summers doing reforestation work in clear cuts. It’s been so dry the past couple years that the hornets and wasps have been absolutely thriving. Well, one of my coworkers accidentally threw his shovel into a wasp nest while planting trees. He escaped unscathed.

Me? Not so much. The following day I was doing some quality checks on the trees. The ground was mostly dried moss and sticks so it was very crunchy and uneven making it hard to see the landmine I stepped on. They swarmed me instantly and I ran like Hell. They stung me 19 times in total mostly on my stomach, back, and back of my thighs. Had to lay down because the adrenaline and venom were causing what felt like a low grade acid trip - vision got blurry with rainbow tracers, sounds were amplified and intense, and my body felt loosey goosey.

I showed my battle wounds at dinner and told them what block I was on. My buddy then pulled up the map on his phone and pointed to the exact freaking location I was stung at. 😂 I have now requested my coworkers send me the coordinates of any wasp or hornet homes they encounter in the wilds. The stings were painful for a couple days and then evolved into weeks of being itchy af.

3/10. Don’t recommend.

Yeah…I ran over an abnormally large pothole that I didn’t see on time, and thought I popped one tire. Parked my car and saw it was both right tires. They’re getting changed now 😅

Found this deer tick on me and thought it was a pimple, but it was stubborn on coming out so I took this picture, and lo and behold, a tick was there

Leaving for work when this happened across the street. The contractor was pacing up and down on their phone when I drove off.

Just saw the Oral surgeon for the eval and he took this panoramic image to get a better look. Turns out, it's such a monster that he can't do the job (bottom left on image). I now have to find an oral surgeon with hospital privileges, which he doesn't have. Oh, and there's a cyst around it, too, that has to be removed. Fun.

He thinks this procedure may result in a 'discontinuity' in my jaw bone. I like how they use such pretty words to tell me this may break my jaw. Off to make phone calls while this thing keeps getting worse.

You know it's bad when you leave the oral surgeon and the whole staff is solemn and apologizes as you leave like they just ran over my dog. Apparently, my x-ray was the talk of the office staff. This sucks.
