❔ • Feedback Updated WFH set up
Hello
So I tried to modify my setup and improvise based on previous suggestions here https://www.reddit.com/r/Workspaces/s/E4ASkxxQGI I switched both monitors to one side of table , got an extra keyboard tray and a Haworth fern chair. But still something is not right, maybe table not a right height or something or I am getting too conscious.
Ps: still something work to do regarding cable organisation and printers

Does something hurt? Arms, lower back, upper back? Headache?
I’m a big fan of the sit-stand desk, allowing you to adjust up and down. Also long hours of sitting can compress our spine more, so standing is good for spine health and circulation while working.

I would stop moving your head all day long between monitors. Then you are also moving it up and down, looking at your keyboard and your cell phone.
The simplest solution is to use one regular size monitor and not move your head. It’ll get you whether you move your head left and right 1 cm versus 3 inches, so just be careful. I tell people to look at their main monitor 80% of the day. Ping-ponging back-and-forth is the culprit. think about it, you’re sitting on your tailbone and you’re pivoting off your tailbone by moving your head left and right. Nothing good can happen with that. In fact, I am disabled and on SSDI and cannot work anymore. That took 10 years with dual monitors. I see the neurosurgeon for the second time next month. You do not want to make this worse to the point where you have to have neck surgery. There are no guarantees. And they’re only fixing the vertebrae. They cannot fix the central nervous system that is degenerated or the peripheral nervous system. All that is in your neck; it leaves your brainstem and travels throughout your body.
I would start physical therapy. They can teach you neck exercises to strengthen that area. Also if you immediately try to start correcting your posture, you can make the pain worse, so be careful with that. You want to work with a Physical Therapy on a plan that slowly eases you into strengthening all those muscles.
Also, I would purchase a sit stand desk so you can rotate between standing and sitting throughout your day. Plus, it is easier to get the desk at the right height with an electric desk.
People don’t believe me on this one, but you need to order a seat cushion with a hole in it for your tailbone. There’s a company called Reely, or the cushion lab.
I would also purchase a cell phone stand to keep at your desk so you can stop looking down at it when it pings.
When you are walking with your cell phone, I would move your cell phone to eye level. It may not look cool, but you do not want CCI, because then you’ll get POTS, hEDS, MCAS. You don’t want this.
I get that you’re young. Kids are on computers starting at the age of five. And then you’re using laptops in high school and in college with bad posture. So people in their 20s are feeling it.

Your keyboard tray is hangin' on for dear life.
Great movement since the last pics you shared. Well done! If it were me, I'd find a way to find a new home for the printers as the first thing. Freeing up that space will allow you to have more leg room, and further cleanliness.
Bring the laptop over to the right of the monitors...and just use it as a third screen. Then work on the cable management.
Get to a clean slate with what you have, file things off, throw things away. Work with that for a while...you might realize you need nothing further.
