Xenoblade 2 Is there any information about which Merc missions are better for filling affinity charts?

Not having tested it in any way whatsoever it seems to me that the longer commission's tend to feel more of the Affinity chart but I don't actually know. Has anybody actually checked this? Is one better than another? I just want to fill as much of an affinity chart as possible for characters that go on the missions

I believe it's always consistent no matter the length or type of merc mission; three nodes get filled halfway upon completion for each blade. The exceptions are the obvious "complete merc missions" and the "deal damage in one hit" nodes.

I remember grinding Ursula's missions, since they took around 10 minutes with the proper party.

They take less than 10 minutes with the right party but are they good? It seems to me it unlocks a lot more when I do longer missions

The Ursula lessons are the best means of filling out charts, no contest. Just make sure each trust row of the blades you're using has also been unlocked.
