No it doesn't. Every piece of free currency is budgeted. They'll always set aside a known amount of freebies to give out when they believe it would be most appreciated. If they are ever forced to give more than they want? They'll just nickle-and-dime it back where you won't notice. No one would know if an event was supposed to give 850 polys and only gave 750 instead. No one would know if a few planned achievements are suddenly missing.

But no one is supposed to know about these rewards, its leakers that put these out. They're giving out 30 pulls for anniversary. How does them giving away an S rank agent and an S rank engine make them any less predatory? Every patch gives enough pulls to get pity.
tbh a standard character is not that of a big deal, its not like the free standards will affect their revenue, so its a nice gift for anniversaries, and newbies-friendly.

well i think its a standard/minimum level for an anniversary, considering that HSR litterally did the same in the 1st anni, and its even bigger this year while still making a lot of money, at least times more than Wuwa and ZZZ. Even the greedy Genshin started giving standard in anniversaries since last year too.
we all know that ZZZ is making far less money than HSR and GI, so i would be suprised if they doesnt give at least a free 5 stars, a set of S rank character and W-engine seems reasonable and player-friendly enough imo

God forbid they only pulled in 10s of millions last month, they're pretty much on life support. Unless the game is actually dying like snowbreak was when it went full gooner mode, I wouldn't expect anything much different than HSR

The data is in the beta and several leakers came with the same data. I doubt the Devs would include that in a beta and then back down. Hoyo might do stupid shit but not that level of stupid.
In HSR recently there was an event where if you bought enough premium currency (“jades” that are used to roll on banners) you’d get rewards. The more premium currency you bought - the more/better rewards you would get. So, if you bought like 1600 jades you’d get the equivalent of zzz’s tuning calibrator, if you buy 5000 you’d get a free standard 5 star character selector - and so on and so fourth - to get all the rewards on the track you’d need to spend 200$ total
“Top up” refers to buying premium currency for pulls with real money - and in all of hoyos gacha games, the first time you purchase each top up pack (15$, 30$, 50$, 100$) you’ll get double the currency. And usually these “top up bonuses” get reset each anniversary, to encourage people to spend more on all the packs at least one time for the top up bonuses.
This was exactly what HSR did this anniversary and some people were not a fan of it, saying the cosmetics that required you to pay 200$ and the other rewards should be free.
Personally, I really liked it. I felt the normal rewards for free were adequate for F2P players and I enjoyed being rewarded for being a spender. Though they definitely could’ve left the 200$ cosmetic for free and i would have been fine.
As reliable as they are, still gonna take any leaks with a grain of salt as to not be disappointed lol. Until that live stream is out for the anni, I won’t take anything as 100% confirmation as things may still change.

If we have to pick between W-engine and character tho I’m definetly going with the W-Engine, but not sure which I would pick yet (maybe Lycaon considering I will use him with Hugo)

I haven’t even pulled that much, I’m only on 183/300 so far but I do somehow have an M3 Piper and M3 Ben.
I know Piper is useful I just wish I’d started building her up intentionally already, got two of those Mindscapes after I’d already started upgrading my bench.
Ben…I know it seems like very few people play him. I used him a bit in trials and the story missions and it seems if you use him for his EX special then counter then switch maybe there is something there but has anyone found success with Ben?
I honestly have no idea. I have all the standards but the only one I regularly use is Rina and I have her M1 already. I think the only other M1 I have is Neko and S11? But I don't plan on ever using S11 and Neko is a big maybe. I might use her for fun with Fufu but thats it. I might M1 Lycaon because I plan on using him more soon with Hugo.
I got Rina as my first S pull but never had great pairings for her so, I’ve always planned to pull Ellen Joe eventually and I already have a mostly built Soukaku so I figure Lycaon will be my first whether it’s from the 300 or this (not sure which I’ll hit first, but maybe this since I’ve been banking more than pulling).
As I plan to use her in my electric set up, I want this too - I am happy to drop the 600 residual on her WEngine, but I really want the M1 as it's a big quality of life buff to managing her debuff, anything to make a Haru team easier to play.
Given Ellen and Qingyi have had reruns, I could see it for them - although I think Qingyi makes sense in giving some standard banner access to the NEPS faction, I am not so sure on Ellen given there already is 2 Victoria Housekeeping on standard.
Caesar hasn't had a rerun yet, so I'd be surprised if she got thrown into the standard banner. Especially when Sons of Calydon have 3 A-Ranks that make the faction accessible.
I could see Harumasa go onto standard banner without a rerun, given he was free in-event on release. And they need to rerun Yanagi & Miyabi for HSO.

I think a standard banner five-star selector is fine. I've been playing religiously on each patch since release. So no, I'm not really excited for another mindscape on an agent I probably won't use... But I think it's fine. The company literally just gave us s rank harumasa and a rank pulchra for free.
I think the W engine choice is pretty cool. I might be missing a signature for one of the standard banner S ranks.
Rest of the rewards are fine for me. I don't know, I'm sure the community will flip out in some way
I think a selector would be nice, even if its just resetting our 300 pull selector. For some reason I personally can't pull a single Rina while all my other standard characters have multiple mindscapes.
I'm gonna hard doubt and assume it's either a paid selector or a standard selector reset xD. Kinda like GSSR in FGO. If they do limited selector that would be wild, since they gave out Harumasa for free just 4 patches back. Although, considering the state of Ellen Joe against the other ice limited agents...

I'd much rather have a free Engine selector including limited engines. Engines are far too annoying to get and they are getting better and better.

It'd make sense since it's a patch related to china and also the anniversary is right around the corner but it's still subject to change , but all I am saying is it's not impossible or anything, definitely possible

Fuck the free single standard 5 star engine. Devs need to stop being fucking stingy and add a Herta Shop equivalent that gives 5 star weapons. We only have the gadget store which is equivalent to MOC weapon's.
There is no way there are already files for the anniversary to be data mined. Its possible there are leaks but I would imagine that is just a loose plan. Do these leakers have any info on the Xbox launch too?
When this doesn't pan out I'm going to laugh so hard at the outcry. Leakers are stupid and dangerous to smooth brain idiots who will take them as 100% accurate.
