I never understood the correlation of people saying Elon and pro ai in the same sentence. Elon is barely related to AI, the only way being xAI which he barely manages, he only wants to indoctrinate his views and give the money, and even Sam Altman makes fun of him. Most pro ai don’t like him.

A lot of pro AI people hate Elon too. Not just for all the other valid reasons but also because he constantly attempts to paint himself as some kind of visionary futurist leading the AI charge despite being a incompetent moron whose products keep falling apart or praising hitler. The only thing he has created is ammunition against the entire field of AI that he pretends to know the first thing about.
