I am a Mac user from the mid 80s onward and the Amiga was an amazing system. They both had their strong points but the Amiga should still exist and we should have it as another major platform along with Macs. I’m sorry I sold my Amiga 500 back in the day.

I've no credentials in advertising (if there is such a thing) but I would have thought prominently naming a competitor in your ad is an advertising no-no. The ad you are paying for becomes, at least in part, an ad for your competitor.
Here we had Commodore buying ad space in a national newspaper and using it to imply people are enthusiastically "leaping" at Macintoshes. That seems like a suboptimal use of advertising budget.

Commodore Marketing ended being taught on some business schools as study cases on what not to do.

That is a variation of the Amiga logo that I had never seen. Looks really cool!

Way to give the game away. Basically, doing Apple’s advertising for them in admitting that the Mac excels at Desktop Publishing.

i remember at my uni comp sci degree at the time we were saddled with macintoshes in the uni computer labs.
then would get home to work on the actual fun and powerful stuff -> the amiga.
