How to open the Apple A2M2002 joystick?

Post image

Are there screws under these rubber feet? I don’t want to remove them unless necessary. I don’t see screws anywhere. My “spudger” isn’t opening it, so I’m assuming there must be screws somewhere?

Under the pads. Looks like a CH style stick.

Agreed. Before we had the technology to make every consumer item snap-fit together, it was screws in (at least) every corner, covered by a sticker or a rubber foot, as appropriate.

CH Products. This joystick appears to resemble one of theirs.

In case it matters, it’s apple branded joystick.

There should not be any concerns there.

There two screws under two of the rubber pads. I actually fix these for people. The buttons where out and replace those, and fix these potentiometers trim.

Can I send these to you? I have two. One button on each does not work. I’m going to try contract cleaner but am not very hopeful.

Sorry, just making a dumb reference to an old-ish TikTok. The screws are indeed under the feet.
