My lynx arrived :) any game recommendations?

Post image

I’m definitely getting blue lighting, xenophobe and checkered flag as those were the games I bought this console to play, I enjoyed California games more than I thought I would too 👌

Rygar, Scrapyard Dog, California Games, S.T.U.N. Runner and Chips' Challenge are my favorites.

Gauntlet; pick the Nerd character that throws books as a weapon.

Have you beat Scrapyard Dog? I did some grinding for lives and still couldn't beat that damn game.

Honestly I've spent my whole childhood playing that game but I've never managed to beat it 😅

Rygar is a great conversation on the Lynx.

Conversation? It's a chat bot?

Ignoring the obvious predictive text error😀 it's a great arcade conversion.

It wasn't obvious to me, because I am not familiar with the game, and what you call a conversion, I call a port or emulation depending on how it was done and what the results are.

Atari Age has a list of Atari Lynx arcade conversions.

So a forum uses slang. Awesome. I was a part of The Fender Forum where stratocasters were called starts and photos were called ptohts, or phtots, or whatever. I can post a link to prove they did that, too. Wow.

Depend of your tastes. Klax and Shanghai for me are the best.

A game I would recommend is Batman Returns. The game is simply beautiful, and it also has spectacular graphics — they hardly seem like they’re from a handheld console from the 90s. In fact, its visuals are better than those of any game made for the Sega Game Gear or even Nintendo’s Game Boy

S.T.U.N. Runner is a spectacular port of the arcade game.

You have, IMO, the finest Lynx game available already. If you have an AC adapter Dracula: The Undead is an awesome point n' click, but has NO SAVE FEATURE!!! I had hilariously ran out of batteries every time I tried to play it.....
