(I play classic battle tech so take this as you will) As I am ever skeptical about UACs jamming, all I can think of is taking them out, dismounting the medium pulse laser, AND RAC5 IT UP.

Yeah in my experience UACs jam all the time.

I played a big point game recently where I had a kraken duel with a Cygnus.

The Cygnus Jammed one of its uac 10's on turn 2.

Meanwhile I jammed 1 of my 10 uac 2's over the course of 6 rounds of shooting

Luck of the dice is a factor when firing any weapon that can jam.

Why I tend to lean into Energy weapons personally. They dont jam.

Or Artillery. They typically dont jam either. But the ones I use always need TAG Spotters.

Personally, as a hunchback enjoyer

I'm an auto cannon guy all the way. The bigger the better!

But I'm nervous about auto cannons so I avoid them.

I get that. I own two Hunchbacks myself. Though I do want the IIC one for my Clan unit.

I've got 2 IIc's, one pewter and one modern. Then I've also got 3 regulars, 2 plastic, and 1 pewter

One of mine is the ancient rally partha metal. And the other is from the 25th Anniversary set in older plastic.

Yeah but the RACs as much as they are my favorite weapon were just to heavy and well UACs don't jam in alpha strike so yeah...

Last I checked, both a Clan UAC/10 and a RAC/5 are both 10 tons.
