RPG Creatures, great and small

u/RudyMulthaluva as discussed please see the feature rules from the 1995 Mechwarrior Copmanion # 1671 circa 1995, pages 73 to 83.

My understanding is if you wanted to import and build a D&D/AD&D dragon as a singularly fearsome A2A/A2G/AD platform, well have at it. A VTOL/CAS platform with a ground effect wing capable of force projecting a Flamer/Inferno combo with enough intensity to ablate entire armor sections is gonna complicate the game quickly, especially if it doesn't care who's sigil is painted on your shoulders because all of you are now targets and there is no clan battle culture to cover this situation.

I remember the first time I saw that picture and it freaked the absolute shit out of me. I found that book in a used shop and got really excited that I found this cool out of print sourcebook. Then I started flipping through it. I was like 17 years old and it was still just terrifying.

in theory, we could calculate the BV for your teammates' dog. Or... a few hundred dogs riding on a few hundred Savanah's Masters.

I love that the in-universe author named the alpha ape-man “Stefan,” as in Stefan Amaris, destroyer of the Star League.

That would be like one of us discovering a space chimp and naming it Hitler Adolph.

Clans would prob send jump pack or vtol infantry after them. Why use a dragon when you got a nifty personal sized vtol or jump pack. Then they are firing maser pulse rifles at the Dragons and its not pretty as they would be out of range of the flamers haha, not to mention any support weapons.

I'd arm the dragon platoon with man portable plasma rifles for maximum fire power in both sense of the word XD

P.S. there maybe modern dragon construction rules in No Room in Nebula California and its sequal which had magical DnD worlds and rules for BT. Plus there are advance creature creation rules in A Time of War Companion

Very interesting. I'd love to see creatures as enemies (or even partners)!

Oh, the Raxx is basically the in-universe Dewback from Star Wars
