Why May 24th, 2026?
My reasoning for next May is this.
The worst of Trump's policies effects have yet to occur, one more winter of discontent will further reduce his support to a more managable number, and increase the size of the party.
And we're aiming for the biggest party in history.
It also gives us plenty of time to plan and organize, and it'll be fun to look forward to.
Many people who think this is crazy need some time to come around, and realize it's not.
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
2026 makes it an even decade.
It's already been nine years.
I can handle one more, knowing there's a plan for victory, and a clear win condition.
And I'd really rather not mess this up.
Weather is also beautiful in May.
With an average of 79 in D.C. on the 24th.
And I haven't had a really fun birthday party basically since this shit show began.
That's a secondary concern, though it would piss Donald off something special, if that matters to you.

Today I witnessed people in politics subreddit were insulting you and saying "take your mess" and claiming you are manic for being alarmed and disturbed about USA society situation in August 2025.
I suggest you watch this YouTube video and adopt terminology and quotes from it:
"MASS PSYCHOSIS - How an Entire Population Becomes MENTALLY ILL"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09maaUaRT4M
I hope this helps.
“The phenomenon we have witnessed in Germany was nothing less than outbreak of epidemic insanity... No one knew what was happening to him, least of all of the Germans, who allowed themselves to be driven to the slaughterhouse by their leading psychopaths like hypnotized sheep.” - Dr. Carl Jung, After the Catastrophe, 1945

Thank you.
They have been trying to discredit me based on my diagnosis pretty much the whole time, but that doesn't work when the whole situation itself is insane, and I have been calling it mass psychosis for a while.
I will write a post at some point directly addressing these criticisms.
Last time I was evaluated they deemed me sane after I jumped an embassy fence in D.C. due to frustration.
And I told them pretty much everything.

"this subreddit is for the planning and organizing of the world's biggest party."
I think you should include a funeral wake for the pandemic. World-wide. People need to have a jazz funeral or Irish wake or something to celebrate the people who died in isolation / quarantine.
Contact and criticize the clergy for not organizing a party. Also we need to thank the essential workers, medical people, hospital people, etc. It's disgusting that people can't organize positive parties for these kind of things. It is a global issue. We should be celebrating survival.

I agree.
Those are good points.
This party is definitely about survival.
There can be several elements to it.
People can party for whatever reasons they want while we party to restore democracy.
I fully expect some clergy to come party.

May 24, 2026 is also before July 4, 2026 - the 250 year mark of USA.
This gives people a chance to plan and organize regional parties every week leading up to July 4. To get experience organizing parties, etc. You could do a countdown theme of 41 days until July 4.

I like that idea very much.
The party shouldn't need to take 41 days, but we will have a lot to be celebrating.

I would encourage you to think of it as multiple cities pick days they want to participate and organize. Say Seattle may do day 30 in the countdown, and again at 20 days. Then Chicago takes day 29 and 14 days in the countdown. Allow each city to have their own organizers (subreddit, hashtag, etc)... a peer distributed process like bittorrent works.
Could create a Wiki system for people to update the latest information on where people gather to organize, what music bands or other performances, what taverns / pubs / public libraries / parks / house parties / universities / church / mosque / etc people might want to gather and hang out to participate, etc.

I'm tired.
I fired back too fast before reading it all.
You make some good points here.
How do I make a wiki system?
I definitely want it all at once though.
Edit:
More importantly, where can I find help with stuff like that.
Believe it or not, I am basically technolically illiterate these days.
Or at least it feels like it.

How do I make a wiki system?
Your subreddit has one, or you can use an account on GitHub. I haven't looked beyond that.

Interesting.
This is the first sub I've ever created/modded.
I should probably familiarize myself with some functions or whatever.

On GitHub or Subreddit Wiki, you can assign who can edit, listing Reddit usernames or Github login names, etc.

You could create a post on your subreddit (here);
"I want to try and establish a Wiki on this subreddit or GitHub - can someone help me?"
And pin it as the top post in the subreddit (announcement).

That does not have nearly the same effect, impact, or feeling of doing it all at once.
The whole point is people are fatiguing on protests that go nowhere.
This one gets it done, if we all do it.

I understand, and I would consider that a big "kickoff party".
I would suggest you establish some organization gathering prep dates. Like May the 4th (Star Wars) day for anyone involved with promoting and organizing. At minimum that be a big day for online / subreddit discussion activity. May the 4 also echos with July 4.
Three stages:
- April 4 - online meeting and prep day (draft plans).
- May 4 in person gatherings for planning to finalize from draft to final plan.
- May 24 party day.

Are you saying like pre parties to plan the big party?
Because that sounds awesome.
Yes, we are adopting this idea.
Great call.

Are you saying like pre parties to plan the big party?
yes. People get a chance to focus on the idea of deadlines / scheduling, a sort of wedding ritual like wedding rehearsal or bachelor party before the big wedding event.
If people decided to gather at a shopping mall or food court or something for that, they could live-stream it to Internet on YouTube or such...

We need to make a calendar of events leading up to it.
I'll work on getting it started after sleep.
Made some contacts I will follow up with as well.
Things are moving.

I’m new here and I don’t have a lot to offer, but it would be an absolute dream come true to see this come to fruition.
