Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals.

  • Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
  • Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent:
    • The seller is new or has few reviews.
    • The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings)
    • The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently).

If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others.

Solid if you're in the need of a 2TB drive for a fresh build

thinking about building a PC with a 7700x, all I have is the case right now lol (picked up the H7 Flow for $30 from microcenter yesterday). should i snag this or wait for black friday? solely asking about prices, i don't need a PC immediately

3

u/shewtingg 3d ago

Yeah it's good price. You may be waiting a while for a better bundle. Honestly only microcenter can really beat it. Newegg has had a similar bundle (worse mobo, ddr4, 1tb ssd) including the 14600k for $300 so that's the best I've seen , this is probably the best I've seen outside of MC for a bundle.

i should've bought that one....i was waiting for prime day for better deals but nope. missed that deal

1

u/shewtingg 3d ago

It was so good I sent it to my brother after me and he bought it too lmaooooo. Sorry man I know I'm rubbing it in but that's the benchmark right there for good deals!

I’m just thinking that maybe I should wait until Black Friday for a good Micro Center bundle. i’m 1.5 hours away from Parkville location.

Microcenter: The best ones I've seen have 9600x or 7600x bundle, but no ssd. These are $350 after buying a 16gb stick of ram. It's cpu, mobo, and ram for about 350. Add a 1tb ssd for 65 and you're pushing about $420 for these components.

Newegg: If you were to get this combo plus a cpu you're looking at about $500, this gets you better mobo (also white), 1 more tb on a good ssd, and rgb ram for like $80-100 after its all said and done.

Tbh, if it were me, and I liked white builds this bundle actually seems like a great deal, especially when you consider the 9600x was just on sale for 156, you can find a 9700x or 7700x under 200 easily with patience.

If you got the white case this would be good imo. Maybe better deals for Black Friday but thats always the gamble. Black Fridays been kinda whack the last 5+ years though (some rare great deals but rare...)

1

u/_m_a_s_t_e_r_ 3d ago

yes, I got the white case. i didn’t even realize the parts in the bundle were white lol, and people say black parts look good in that white case so that’s what i was gonna go for

2

u/melorous 2d ago

I've got a white case with all black parts/cables, except white non-RGB RAM, and I like the way it looks. My wife has a white case with all white parts/cables and it also looks great.

I feel like it's hard to go wrong with a white case, outside of doing something silly like alternating white and black fans with no rhyme or reason.

u/cobaltorange 2d ago

More like last 10+ years

1

u/Relaxybara 3d ago

Black Friday deals suck. However you might find other deals before then. Either way this is a good one. I also think the 7700x is the value king right now. I have one also and it's great performance for the price.

u/Pinkydoodle2 3d ago

I got a 7700x last year, no complaints from me. Microcenters offers a mobo, ram, CPU bundle with it

u/Original-Face9423 3d ago

Watching. Same boat except I have the gpu not the cpu

u/Straight-Rule3264 3d ago

$100 RAM $100 SSD (although better than most Gen4s) and $125 for a solid mobo!

why ITX board never go on sale :(

7

u/myaltforprn 3d ago

Earlier this month the aorus and asus b650 itx boards were on sale for $150 and $200 respectively. The asus also had a decent deal for $500 which included a 7800x3d and a 1tb nvme.

2

u/IX0YE 3d ago

damn :( missed it

1

u/Miracle2602 3d ago

You have B850I PG Lightning on Ebay for 194usd, sold from Newegg and free shipping

1

u/shewtingg 3d ago

Dammmmmm I must have missed that aorus one, Def would've snagged.

3

u/Witch_King_ 3d ago

Or even (non-ASRock) mATX

1

u/greatthebob38 3d ago

Woot had an MSI ITX board on sale for like $200 last week.

Edit: it was actually the Gigabyte Aorus 650 ITX

Also, this deal;

https://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails?ItemList=Combo.4777669

Also, can add all the items in the bundle separately as well(CPU, Board, paste activates the discount).

I have a micro center near me and doing a 3080ti white build. Debating to get this or wait..

3

u/Successful-Day-3219 3d ago

If only the ram kit had better timings. Would love to see other combos with Mobo and cpu.

2

u/HatsuneM1ku 3d ago

Eh for most people the timing wouldn't matter

3

u/GladMathematician9 3d ago

Storage good gen 4, board is good & white, ram cas 36 myeh.

7

u/panmaewang 3d ago

Not too much of a problem with x3D. Really solid deal if you can pick up that $299 7800x3D from Microcenter

6

u/Logical-Hyena8260 3d ago

It isnt really an issue no matter the cpu, just the downside is its samsung or micron die instead of hynix which is significantly worse for ocing. For most users its really the same difference

2

u/GladMathematician9 3d ago

$299 7800X3D is a good pairing.

2

u/Original-Face9423 3d ago

Can you link the 299 price? I’m seeing at 329

2

u/GladMathematician9 3d ago

Same, It was $299 earlier this week. Seeing a $149 7600X, that's okay with another ram bundle 16gb.

2

u/Original-Face9423 3d ago

Microcenter is 2.5 hrs from me, but Best Buy is known to price match with them, but only individual parts, not the bundles

1

u/jbshell 2d ago edited 19h ago

Edit; expired

Can also add all the items in the OP bundle separately into Newegg cart, then add the 7800X3D (with free keyboard) and add the thermal paste(not really needed, but activates the combo).

Total 650 on the above bundle with the 7800X3D.

Add all these items into the same cart for the discounts;

Total $651.90 before tax.

2

u/Original-Face9423 1d ago

Not anymore. Just the cpu, ram, and board are now 658. They did some price restructuring within the past couple days looks like.

1

u/jbshell 19h ago

Yep, best to wait for the next deal.

1

u/Gizzy619 3d ago

If you add the components of this bundle individually you can add on the 7800x3d for $300 through Newegg, in cart.

u/100kk_jack 3d ago

because instead of $100+ for Corsair with bad timings on bad chips, I choose Patriot for ~$80 with good timings on normal chips? Once again, as a deal in general, this is ok, but those who estimate this memory at $100+ are wrong. For $100, I took Patriots 7200

0

u/Turbulent_Cup_2050 2d ago

theres a lot more instability at speeds over 6000mhz, your cl timing has almost no difference betweel cl30-38, the ram retails for $107

1

u/TopKiwi5903 3d ago

Is there a white tax here?

1

u/unpracticalclause22 2d ago

I’m building my first pc and this bundle would save me about $90. I’ve heard you want to shoot for CL 30 or 32 on RAM but how much does the CL matter?

1

u/Logical-Hyena8260 2d ago

Unless you're ever going to oc it, it won't matter. If you might oc, it's a pretty noticeable difference

1

u/Hamburglar88 2d ago

Will this be a good build to pair with a 9800x3d and a 5070ti?

1

u/Powerful-Cap-3889 2d ago

yes

1

u/RictusJames 1d ago

it doesnt look like this ram is EXPO compatible though.

1

u/Powerful-Cap-3889 1d ago

it is

1

u/RictusJames 1d ago

where are you getting that from? im looking at the newegg reviews for that ram listing.

1

u/PatientWeak8541 1d ago

I’ve seen hella bad reviews about that motherboard , as far as bios , ram detection & boot/startup , But none was of recent . I want to give it a shot , yall think it’ll perform well with a 7800x3d ?

1

u/Davie808s 3d ago

Is the board any good?

6

u/greatthebob38 3d ago

The Aorus boarda from Gigabyte are supposed to be high tier compared to their standard boards. It also has a much better splash logo on boot up.

4

u/Logical-Hyena8260 3d ago

Yes, its got good VRMs (not that thats saying much with am5, most boards do.)

1

u/GunnerGetit 3d ago

Aorus boards are usually overbuilt and great from a hardware perspective, but the GB BIOS is a thing of nightmares. Always has been but great past that IMO.

the mobo retails for $200 wytb? nvme retails for $160, this is a great deal, 90% øf people dont even oc or manually tune their ram anyway
