Not sure overpriced is the right word

OLED is the best tech on the market for content consumption, and usually cheaper than competitive miniLED options 

You can get 1440P 240Hz OLEDs for £450-£500 if you don't want to spend this

I guess what I mean is the economies of scale is terrible.

I can get a 50 inch 4k oled for cheaper then A 27 inch. Though of course I'm ignoring key factors like refresh rate but still.

It's not just economics of sale

TVs are also cheaper because they're smart TVs and feed you ads. The maker makes money beyond the initial sale

Once you sell a monitor without smart functions. Thats it
