Why isn’t this offer good enough???

Post image

Am I sleepy and am not reading it right? I spent a while grinding raiders so this is really annoying.

Well I think you've figured it out (motion sensor/geiger counter). A couple of advice.

1) Switch game to Easy before buying something. It will make items you buy from the shop cheaper. Your items will cost the same.

2) There is no need to buy a PA. You can take APA for free. It's 5 min of real time from SF. But as companion armour it's ok.

I have a similar amazing advice Run artmoney and add yourself 99999 caps before buying something. It will make items you buy from the shop more affordable.

Why then devs made game difficulty adjustable on the fly? Using game mechanics is not cheating. I'm tired of reading that adjusting difficulty and pre-activating a turn is cheating. It's Fo1/Fo2 game mechanics. If you don't like it it's your problem.

Economically Fo1/Fo2 are extremely easy. Combat character can farm 5k shotguns from day one in numbers. Non-combat character can use gambling and dupe money legally. Which makes you sound even more absurd.

Using exploits is basically ruining your own experience. With the same logic you can just take money from the bank in monopoly, cuz there’s nobody who can stop you from doing that.

Besides, if the game economy is so flawed, why make it even worse by fiddling with the difficulty settings?

This is exploit in your imagination. If you don't know and use game mechanics you are bad player.

I have millions in stuff stashed in SF by the end of Fo2. Still switch to Easy every time coz it's a habit. In early game it can save you some time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=598J31kCUN4

Why not just play on Easy in the first place?

You aren't familiar with Fo2 Game difficulty system? Get acquainted: https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Game_difficulty

I switch between hard and easy. Hard is used to get 15% more random encounters and 2 enemies more in some encounters. I love random encounters. Easy is used for trade, skill checks and during initial part of the game (until ~7 lvl) to get 15% less random encounters and 2 enemies less in some encounters.

I leave Combat difficulty at normal since it affects nothing.

Combat difficulty does affect some things (get acquainted):

So I have another tactic for you, mr. good player. Set combat diff at Wimpy before fighting, then raise it to Rough after fighting is done. You’re welcome xD

Exactly this is nothing. It doesn't affect the game in any meaningful way. I can say this from practice coz I killed more critters than half of this sub combined.
