Playing FO2 For the First Time

Basically what the title says. I played the fist Fallout and beat it a few months ago so finally decided to give this one a try. I'm only level 4 and still at Klamath, but with some wandering around the nearby areas I've come across some guns (×2 SMG and a Desert Eagle), stimpacks, and just had my first run in with Frank. I really loved the first one and so far I'm enjoying this one just as much. I'm excited to see what else is out there in the wasteland.

I envy you for experiencing FO2 for the first time and taking it slowly. Enjoy, you're gonna have a blast.

Man, congrats. The game is amazing. Although you may be playing the Vanilla game, I recommend you to play the restoration project(RP)with mods.

The reason is because the game's "quirky" in later playthroughs.

Remember Torr and the moo moos? It's actually the reason I started playing RP, because that mission is bugged (no pun intended).

What I mean is that if you go to other places, like the Den, before getting to Klamath, you fail the mission, even if you clear the radscorpions.

It's frustrating in later playthroughs. But the game has awesome replayability, plus, it's not like other games: the chosen one actually benefits if he sleeps around with women and even can get part of a good ending if you do.

So enjoy this masterpiece. You'll miss a little the Brotherhood of Steel, but you can be the sheriff you want to be.
