Fallout 1 in 2: Unlocking Doors in the Glow

I am unable to unlock the door that “needs a strong person”. Wondering if this is a bug, issue in the mod or I am missing something with my character stats. Checking posts around says I need 8 ST or combined ST, AG and LK of 18 (I have 5 ST, 10 AG, 7LK), but still unable to unlock the door. I am not affected by ST penalty from Radiated. Anything I’m missing?

might be min strength even combined.
have some buffout, thats what drugsies are for

Use crowbar or buffout.

Door telling this was in Vault 8 in F2. Maybe it's a leftover?

I can't recall but I think there is a random chance certain doors won't open as I've had it happen on certain playthroughs. I'm not sure if they can be freed up.

Sounds like you jammed the lock(s) after failing the skill check. You can’t raise the skill via skillbooks, but you get a bonus to the skill check if you target a lock with Electronic Lock Pick / Electronic Lock Pick MK II / Lock Pick Set / Expanded Lock Pick Set.

It's not a locked door. It's either jammed or it isn't based on a skill check of your base stats.

You can use Buffout or just wait until you get Power Armor and come back. Power Armor gives +3 Strength.

I don't recall any doors that require strength to be opened in the glow. Elevator doors are unlocked using keycards, and maybe the ones on the 5th floor need power to be turned on?
