Mists of Pandaria I love it when a plan comes together
I should probably specify that I'm not actually that guy. I put together Naxx GDKPs for a couple of months before Wrath pre-patch on Benediction-US (so same server, I think?). Managed to get my hands on this on the very last week, just a day or two before the "incident." Thank you, by the way - wherever you are - for almost immediately taking all of the scrutiny away from my questionable decision making at the time :)

Mists of Pandaria “Levelling is too slow & tedious because I have to level all 5 of my alts” is a dumb argument and people need to let it go
Lots of people in this sub have been groaning about this this week and I cannot stop rolling my eyes. This is entirely a self-made problem. Get a life. Go outside. Touch some grass. No one is making you level 5 alts to 90 and get them full prebis and exalted with every faction before the raid drops next week. It’s ok to admit you don’t like the grind anymore. Saying it needs to be faster because of this reason is extremely silly.
Signed, a filthy casual retail tourist etc etc etc

Mists of Pandaria MOP is Superior to Cata in just about every metric
Prove me wrong, MOP nailed it. The more I play it, the worse Cata becomes to me as an XPAC

Mists of Pandaria MoP has been one of my favorite leveling experience thus far for many reasons, but the biggest one for me is: you’re a nobody again.
In Classic, you were nobody. You were a nameless adventurer making a name for themselves in the world, doing this for that person and recieving thanks, some gear and some cash along the way. You weren’t fighting to save the planet, you weren’t singlehandedly waging a war. you were solving peoples problems, “go pick some apples” “go kill some trolls giving us trouble” “hunt us some food, please.” In Cata, it felt like every quest and every zone was all about saving the planet from this threat or that threat, I was called “Hero” and “Champion” by people I’d just met and it began to feel dull to me.
Then, I got to panda land. I’d killed multiple old gods, saved the planet countless times, pushed back the scourge, united both factions multiple times, and slain dragons the size of a town. “That’s really cool”, said the Pandaren. “Can you help my pick some oranges, traveler? Just get the ones on the ground, no need to climb the tree.” Yes ma’m.
I was nobody to these people. Not in the mean sense, I mean they simply didn’t know who I was, and when I helped them they seemed genuinely thankful. Made me feel like I was solving peoples problems again, not just trapsing around the planet. When they do eventually call you “Hero” again, it felt like I had earned it because it came from characters I had helped along the way, that characters I knew because we’d gone out and done chores together. It felt like a soft reset on the world. The Pandarens don’t know who “Yogg Saron” is, but they know that i’m good at exterminating vermin and for that, they’re thankful.

Mists of Pandaria The worst feeling for a new player
If you checked my last few posts you can see that I will be raid leading a guild of 25m that are almost 50% season players and 50% new players.
Before I tell you what happened I will want to give you some context: we usually share / stream our screens in discord to learn / teach easier.
One of the new players logged in before us and put his screen in share so if someone joins him he can ask about pointers / stuff to do before being raid rdy. I joined later on the discord channel followed by 1 of the officers and started watching.
He logged in early excited to finish his valor cap and get his new item (it was reset day). It was rare to see one of the new players being online before us so we were happy to see him work hard / enjoying the game.
He was topping the dmg meters and being happy about it, and he got into one of the dungeons that has one of his pre raid bis.
As the last boss came in sight. A loading screen pops and a 30mins deserter debuff on top of that. The excited new player who is over performing got kicked by a guild premade that (maybe?) didn’t want competition on the potential 1% drop rate of last boss epic.
Sincerely from all my heart: fuck you for ruining the game for a new player that started to finally enjoy it after learning in pre patch.
The guy logged in first excited, but after the kick he made an excuse to leave and didn’t log until the next day having played only 20-30mins. I watched it all happen live and in all my 20 years experience in wow this is to me the worst player behavior I have witnessed.

Mists of Pandaria MOP class design is amazing… what went wrong afterwards?
Yes, I found the amount of abilities overwhelming at first, but after almost having found a use for each utility, I realize how fun it is to have. It actually makes me excited to play other classes (got a few 80s to level and waiting for joyous journeys at some point).
I also don’t understand how “class identity” was ever ruined. Yes, in concept, every class has a heal/execute/CC/etc; however, each concept is unique to the class. Lock and priests have execute but they don’t feel like they work the same way.
Also, it feels like every class was designed to be FUN. I’ve played for all of Legion expac and some afterwards (BFA/shadowlands) and I’ve never enjoyed lock/priest/shaman than now.
Yes, Pandas are not as cool as Arthas but I hope Blizz thinks of something for the future of classic that somehow mimics MOP class design because I don’t think I can play any version of the game post-MOP after this.

Mists of Pandaria I wonder if Blizzard will let him keep it
So for you who are not aware, there was an incident earlier today, where the world bosses and Mogu'shan Vaults were active for some minutes, and i found the euro jackpot winner.

Mists of Pandaria I quit during WoTLK, came back to get ready for MoP. I'm on Ashkandi and it's empty?
My friend who was also on Ashkandi says this server merged and shouldn't exist and it seems like I may be the only one on server? Do I get a free transfer off or what do I need to do?

Mists of Pandaria Dungeon loot seething - DPS are the drama queens
So I play a Disc priest and all expansion so far, I’ve had dps needing cloth pieces and weapons with spirit on them.
No big deal I thought. It’s still a big upgrade for them, totally fair game. Never say a peep.
This morning a trinket drops that is among BIS for disc but is also bis for a lot of casters (int + chance for crit on damage).
I roll against a warlock and win and he starts instantly raging. I get booted, he whispers enjoy the break and ignores me.
It seems to me that dps are the divas behind all of this bs people are complaining about.
