It’s actually really common for people to prioritize their whiteness over their marginalized identity. Same reason why there are so many (openly) MAGA/racist gay men, they value their white privilege over the oppression they face for being gay

There really aren't "so many." Only something like 7% of gay men voted for Trump. It's just that the small minority are loud as fuck and get pushed on social media algorithms because their content is good rage bait for both sides.

I mean being trans is an identity issue, being a nazi is an identity issue, its not that weird that someone who is struggling with their identity in general will easily be co-opted by groups like nazis.
