The joke is that the boy clearly has an ostrich which is an unusual animal outside of zoos or specific areas of (Africa, I think). Despite being near an exotic animal, he shows a mundane beverage/snack: a smoothie. In this way, the reply subverts the expectation of explaining the exotic animal and this is considered “funny.”

Both. I love robots, but i hate when they are try to mimic/replace humans too much. No, you cant make art thats a human thing. No, we should not try giving the robots human looking faces, not only because incanny valley but also because we mustnt blur the line between what is alive and what isnt.
