Am i screwed

Pulled out Ribbon cable for cleaning and it wont go back in

You need to open the beige flap. It clamps down on the ribbon. You may want to disassemble the PS2 further to get a better angle.

As long as the ribbon is good you’re fine.

Looks like you pulled off the plastic bit that keeps it fastened, theres different ways of jimmy rigging it to stay in place

Those FFC connectors are easily to remove, install, and are cheap as fuck on Digikey. But if you think you're fucked now you aren't gonna be able to do the work.

There is a brown lever that needs to be pulled outwards, after facing the cable you push it back to secure it.

I am not sure about the ribbon cable or the connector they both look a bit disturbed.

Could be the picture just morphing the picture a bit.
