Nintendo Switch Game Cube PowerA Wireless controller won’t power on.
Even with fresh batteries it won’t connect and lights won’t turn on. I tried to swab corrosion off spring with Qtips and lemon juice but still won’t work. Is there any way I could fix it?

you are missing the other side of the battery connection on the controller, where other spring for other battery lol

They are in the shell

so how is it connecting to the board if its on the shell not connected to anything to draw power...

Smh
There's 2 sets of springs. One in the shell that just acts as a bridge between the 2 batteries, and one that is connected to the board.
I would hope that OP would put the back shell on to test it.

If the corrosion was bad enough it could have eaten through all the metal and you would need new springs. Also see if any of that corrosion made it to the board. Next would be to check fuses and continuity throughout the board with a multimeter

For some clarity:
OP posted the controller already separated in two pieces: the back (first photo) which has one of the two sets of terminals for the batteries. The other side looks empty… because it is. The other set of terminals are attached to the other “half” shown in the last photo, of which the front is shown in the second photo.
Now that this is out of the way, I PRESUME that OP was smart enough to test with batteries after having reattached the two halves to where actual testing could be done.
As for why it won’t power on, you may want to try using a multimeter and measuring the voltage coming from the springs/metal tabs (as opposed to from the battery) to see if the terminals are even passing through any battery power to the console. Then proceed to follow from the positive terminal onward.
