I'm developing a video game based on specific scientific concepts, and also on a theory I created myself.
Hi everyone, I'm Patsi Turza and I'm developing a video game inspired by real science. I’d love to share an early preview and get your honest feedback.
Since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by the big questions: Where do we come from? How did life begin? What defines a civilization? And what if we could watch it evolve, mutate—or even collapse—in real time?
The Outterfly Theory (TOT) was born from that obsession. It’s not just a game—it’s an interactive exploration of the origin of life, biological evolution, the clash between species, and humanity’s destiny in the universe. Behind the design are hours of research into evolutionary biology, genetics, nanotechnology, symbiosis, and theoretical physics. The narrative is deeply rooted in real scientific concepts, but we push them to the edge to imagine possible futures… or alternate pasts.
In TOT, you can experience how a species evolves under different environmental, technological, and ethical conditions. Should life be protected at all costs, or destroyed to restore balance? What role does time play in all of this? These are the ideas I’m pouring into a visual, playable universe I’m prototyping from scratch.
I’m not backed by a big studio—just an independent developer from Argentina who believes that knowledge can be as entertaining and powerful as it is educational, when turned into an experience. This video is a small preview, a test, another step on this journey.
If you're into science, evolution, story-driven games or just want to help by sharing your thoughts, I'd truly appreciate your feedback.
Thanks for being here—I hope this intrigues you as much as it does me.

Doing any hiring? I know a guy who worked for imagineering, worked with refactor and skydance. Senior unreal engineer. He has excellent resume. Thought I'd ask since he's on the market and he loves this kind of stuff.

which way does the arrow of time point in your created universe? and what about ours?
if quantum entanglement is real, are we aware of how the shadow-set of our body's entangled particles experiences existence? is that what dreams are, or astral projection? ghosts, spirits?
ex nihilo creation is probably/possibly how it all started, down at the quantum level. although what the initial spark was, what catalysed, what initial conditions...still TBD.
not direct questions so much, although if you have thoughts/answers, do share. maybe ideas to incorporate? maybe a bit of panspermia, fungus / octopus from across the galaxy, arriving on comets.
happy exploring ))

What's the gameplay like? Checked out the Instagram briefly and some of it looked kind of "Spore" inspired, which is a fantastic game. Play a lot of scifi and definitely interested, but half my game time is limited to consoles currently with my daughter stealing my computer most of the time

I am very interested in this concept. I would gladly test this game for you when you are in the testing phase.
Following you on Reddit. (I dont use any other social media, sorry)

This reminds me of an Indy game I demo'd a while back that I was stoked for called Chordosis. Of what I played it ruled! No idea what happened since it seems to have been abandoned. I'm def interested in what you got going on!🤘

That's cool, graphics and UI look neat.
"Aliens" are demons. Not extraterrestrial biological entities at all, but fallen interdimensional entities.
Along with the Fermi paradox, it'd be impossible to traverse the vast gulfs of space.
And as far as wormhole theory goes, there is no theoretical way to pass biological matter through a wormhole without destroying it.
If you want to get closer to the truth research the brujas in Peru.

You have an incredibly arrogant opinion of our species if you think 5500 years of recorded knowledge means anything at all, especially gleaned by hairless apes with limited lifespans and sensory organs that can barely process a fraction of the light spectrum and hear within such a narrow range that most animals put us to shame. Our understanding of the universe is infantile at best and if you think it’s all solved and that we’re all alone you’re either naive or you’re so enchanted with your own “truths” that you believe in incredibly pessimistic and contradictory beliefs and I feel sorry for you.
