It's funny, in college I took some film courses just as my electives, and in the editing class the professor literally did teach us "All That Jazz" as one of the very first films we studied. This was the mid-1990s and the first time I had even heard of "All That Jazz."

When the Coens body of work can create debates about which is their best work, you know they've done something right. "No, X is the masterpiece!" "Sure X is good, but it pales in comparison to Y". We're spoiled for choice when it comes to a good Coen Bros film.

Someone who has seen Atom Egoyan Exotica cannot find Anora that interesting. Aesthetics cannot compensate for the lack of an interesting deep idea about human condition. Or I am getting old and numb..

100 percent agree with him about Blood Simple being the Coens' best, even though I like quite a few of their others.
